The “actual point” you were making is irrelevant beyond the drivel I replied to. (Which, by the way, your “point” is still there if you hit the little down arrow in the top right corner. Chill.)
“Get good” is a completely asinine retort to what I had said prior, which to jog your memory was that MLG standards should not be THE Standard. If I want to play MLG, I’ll go and play MLG playlists. And if you think that there shouldn’t be a motion tracker in games because it’s a “noob crutch”, then you just stick to “Pro” games that don’t use the motion tracker.
But the “get good”? Yeah, we don’t need that here. That notion needs to die a swift, hard, and painful death.
Firstly because this is - first and foremost - a game. I know to many of the 2007 Leftovers, Rank is excessively important and the pinnacle of achievement, but most people going to play video games just want to have fun. Even in Ranked games, because some like the gametypes, some like earning ranks at their own pace, and I would wager most like playing other gamers at their own skill level. That was, if you remember back, the whole point of Ranked. A good portion of those players are bound to use and enjoy motion tracker.
Secondly, and hand-in-hand with the first, people like to play at their own pace. Yes, even in Ranked games. Ranked isn’t a leap from 0 to PRO, there are - and this may come as a shock - Ranks. Some of those are going to be below you, some above, and there should be zero expectation to be among the Top Ranks or just not play. That is just massively disrespectful, juvenile, toxic, and a myriad of other bad things that need to -Blam!- off entirely.
Again, if you don’t want motion tracker, stick to the gametypes that don’t have it. Stop trying to raise the skill gap beyond many player’s abilities for whatever-damn-reason, and force those who just want to enjoy the game to endure frustrating domination matches to fuel your pride and ego.
