Some people said it’s a PC issue, and that the audio sounds fine on console. Something about 343 can’t get it to work consistently across all PC audio drivers or something. If I play MCC, it sounds fine. To be fair, I haven’t played all of Season 2 since the day it came out, and didn’t play over half of Season 1 except for 1 day a month for events, so maybe they fixed it and I missed it, or it wasn’t impressive enough to be noticeable. I’m talking like 3D spatial audio you’d get from a surround sound system that feels like you’re there. We’re plenty far enough in the technology era where Infinite should be setting new records for jaw dropping effects, and it’s staggeringly disappointing instead. The music and sound effects are good, but the mixing isn’t. In fact, I disable the music since it ruins the match immersion. I wish I could disable AI and comms too, and just see subtitles.
