I tried it on both levels. Both levels I had to restart. WTF? I go to menu, select quit and save, but when I return to game it start the level from the begining.
Yea my Halo 4 is saved on the 3rd level even though I have saved and quit plenty of times throughout almost every other level.

Are you serious? I hoped that at least when I finish Halo2 Anniversary campaign, the checkpoint system will improve in Halo3 and 4. WTF?
Can someone explain to me how the saves work? I quit and save on the second level of Halo CE, but when i tried to get in, it restarted the whole level.
Is there a load option somewhere?
In terms of the menu, all i have was “Quick play” and “Missions”

You did select the correct option. Yesterday the game saved my progress when I pressed “save and quit”, but today, at level 8 and 9, it didnt save as usual. I am very dissapointed as I have already to restart the levels 4 times (today twice and yesterday also twice because the game crashed).

How would i load up the same game i quit out of? Quick play loads me into the first level with no option for the second (even if i finished it). Missions brings me to all the missions
Me and my brother are trying to legendary the halos in order and we had to redo the first 3 missions as well as the 5th one (this one had to be redone 3 times) because of the faulty save and quit. Just now we finished 343 Guilty Spark and while we got the achievements for completion of the mission it says we have only done 5 missions on the campaign menu.
