So the quick resume caused me to disconnect from the servers. I thought it might just be a UI issue as the rest of live was working. I’ve then plugged about 3 hours into the campaign unlocked lots of armor chests, only to find out that when you do that disconnected from the server you don’t unlocked the rewards for multiplayer but it classes the chest as looted.
And 343 and ske7ch have said you will get them at a later DATE, once the issue is resolved.
NEXT TIME ADD A ALERT TO THE MAIN MENU SAYING DON’T USE QUICK RESUME!!!

idk how you missed this, its been in every news article and social media feed… i literally cant go 5 minutes without seeing an article from some website about it. also on every 343 members twitter and the official support twitter and these forums. its legit everywhere. someone was being a patrick and living under a rock

Dont question the herd lead them to the right way youll get more done. But its not a game bug its a console bug. People just dont seem to be allowed to talk about the massive issues quick resume causes in every online game which is pretty much every game now lol. I clear my list everytime i wake up and get on but it still bugs out on games that dashboard crash, or after swaping back to itself cause someone invited party and game.
Generally hard quit everything seems to be the only way to stop the series x from doing this as it quick resumes stuff that doesnt show in list like spotify, explorer, and others aswell without your knowledge. Quick resume is also not entirely copasetik with being disabled either. As the worst offender seems to be that microsoft store will require full console reset and also downloads list at times needs full emptied and reset because of a mixture of these things i assume.
Hard to say when all negative videos on youtube get removed instead of responded to. If the vid isnt from people they allow to talk trash about other minor issues to cover your eyes about fake reviews. Youtube will label it as toxic and remove it real or not because developers feelings should matter when they are proud enough to put their name on it. If you look up fake reviews on google one of the top results will be what looks like a warning to developers to include bad fake reviews to be less obvious. Among questions about the legality of doing it for money .
Was very shocked marketing teams could need to be told that till i saw how misguided this games marketing has been. Like wow gonna sell so much when it isnt equipable with my samurai. Armor lol. The topic creator isnt wrong but should try talking to people about the series x flaws or just quick resume as it actually isnt their fault either that quick resume is awful and is single handedly somehow behind every major glitch ive had with the console except possibly the elite controller not being detectable. But i genuinely. Wouldnt be surprised if it somehow is involved.
And frankly it doesnt matter how fast the console is when your load in most games is still dependent on the last person to load before games start anyway. In DbzF i know 30 seconds to 2 mins before them the game failed 2 start and get to sit waiting that time even when it doesnt. So its not really at a great place overall till everyone can get one and they dont imediatly make a newer version that perpetuates the issues instead of fixing them. Or even aknowledging them publicly.
And good point about the social media spoilers but it has become tied to their thought process somehow that they have to agree on a topic. An obvious example is everyone concerned about whats meta when they lack the skill to play at a meta level and will have put the work in to not have to ask when they are ready, because they would be qualified to answer it instead.

Because I am not on twitter, it wouldn’t matter if it was Facebook, Instagram or any social media platform I hardly use them.
So by your logic I should go on external none game/console related platforms to find out the latest news/issues about said game or console? So before I play a game I should be going ‘hmm let’s just scroll through the Internet before I play to see if there is any new issues with the game’.
Not every person who plays games uses social media and even if they did its wrong of 343 and Microsoft to assume that they do.
If it is a console issue then Microsoft should be reporting it in a news feed on the dashboard.
If it is a game issue 343 should be placing on the games menu for all to see (many many games do this.) this way we wouldn’t have posts like this of people who guess what haven’t seen it on Twitter.

Totally agree I just think to assume everyone uses social media or follows you on it is rather poor from both Microsoft and 343.
Simple alert box on the games menu or the dashboard would solve this, and you know the entire community has been reached.
