The pulse grenade NEED a buff.

Please 343i, the pulse grenades are basically useless. I know they can kill, but you need to damage them n order for it to kill someone. Me and a couple of my buddies were experimenting with pulse grenades just before, and the only we could really get kills is we would actually stand inside the sphere.

I have a suggestion, and please consider it 343i.

  • make pulse grenades kill on contact, or at least do way more damage then they do now.

I really like the idea of these grenades, but they so useless!

We should spawn with 2 pulse grenades. Personally I don’t think it needs a buff, its pretty useful in blocking off passages in smaller maps.

Like simmons said, they are good if you want to block off a passage temporarily if you know someone is coming and you want to recover health.

  • Pulse grenades are fantastic in dominion for when enemies are trying to arm the base, especially with the grenadier perk.

  • In close quarters fights if you throw one at the enemies feet just before you die, you can get a kill because of the instant damage.

  • Capture the flag, throwing them in the path of people chasing the flag carrier.

I have found the more that you use them, the better you will become at using them and identifying situations where they would be useful.

I don’t think that there is any reason to start with just one though.

I haven’t tried the pulse granades yet, but they drop a full shield to 10%. If you get 2 body shots a throw a pulse wouldn’t that kill? That doesn’t seem to bad to me. Or even if you do it in reverse, you could kill with it.

That’s how a normal grenade works in theory except for you don’t see the blast radius

If you are looking to get kills with the pulse, you need to strip the shields, then throw it right at their feet.

Clear case of using them wrong.
The pulse grenades are amazing and don’t need to be altered in the slightest.

The second weapon I mastered was the pulse grenade.
Carry 2 instead of one would be better.

Oh if you only new the wonders of the pulse grenade…

As much as I love them I don’t see what makes them so powerful you can only get one off spawn. I feel like that is a leftover from pre-release where the pulse grenade also did EMP which would have justified the single grenade

But seriously they are still pretty amazing once you get used to them. Just today I got an overkill extermination using two of them. 3 were pulse grenade kills with one cleanup headshot.

They are plenty powerful, just not enougth to justify 1 grenade sans grenadier(which I always run on my main class now)

Does starting with two count as a buff? Then that.
