I mean the the energy sword is OP already and doesn’t require any amount of skill. Plus you are giving the player increased speed while using it along with thruster pack?
Oh that just spells disaster. They better change that -Yoink- quick because that sounds almost as bad as Ground pound.
Only way I see this working is if while you are using the Bane your shields are much weaker. Only way…
well when you have it pretty much everyone can see you. you pretty much become a target when you have it and especially from people who are far away from you cause its melee you cant fight back your only choice is to sprint and with that your shields do not recharge.
It’s Prophets’ Bane, because there are multiple Prophets that want you to worship them
The mechanics of the sword are useful. You think Alpha Zombies will have it?
i think its a nice boost to the sword which has been consistently nerfed since its debut in h2. i think h3 got it right, where as it was considerably less useful in reach and h4 with sprint, AAs, and another cut to lunge range.

Well, it’s been rumoured that the Prophet’s Bane is exclusive to Midship.
The weapon definitely has it’s disadvantages though: when you are using it you’re essentially a light bulb.
well it is “energy” and i think the only thing to way something is the handle. But you are a light bulb when you hold in, and from a range are with low shields you can die and when you sprint shields dont charge, seems pretty balanced to me.
It does need to be balanced so that it isn’t a weapon that everyone rushes to get. Personally it should only spawn once and after that a normal energy sword should just spawn.
