I wouldn’t say that release and tundra are map screws, because there are no hooks for anders to take advantage of prophet could just hunter rush and there won’t be anything to stop him, so you scout and make flamers, so prophet upgrades his beam and can melt them all. if you try to ram with hogs he beams them, if you attack his base he keeps some hunters there + a turret.

you mentioned pirth already thats why i didnt put it in.
but release/tundra are just too big for prophet. He cant leave his base until he has 2 turrets or hogs will wreck his base. That gives me time to build up hog numbers and/or take a second base. Once u have got 2 turrets up and are heading for my base/expo I will have enough hogs to stop the prophet when he is on his way too my base. Forcing him to recall and bring units with him the next time. By the time you have enough hunters to safely make the journey across the map I have hornets or a pretty big army of gauss. Either way I would kill your army/base.

you can fight a prophet head on with hogs easily, not so much against an arby/brute.

prophet + 1 hunter can hold off 10 hogs.

miiiiiicroooooo brooo

Ive played countless games against prophets. 2 hogs ram the hunter = hunter dead.

I split my hogs in 2 groups and have 1 group on one side of the prophet and the other hogs on the other side of the prophet. Move both groups up and down/left and right = recall or death prophet. with maybe 2-3 casualties

I do this against brute aswell , but its a pain in the as s to move 2 groups simultaniously without getting vortexed :frowning:

but invite me for some scrims if you want.

beam when you ram. and what makes you think I would be in an open area with only one hunter anyway? 2-3 dead hogs is cost effective(even if it is only by a tiny amount).

ill leave 1 hog on the pad from your base to my base. So I know when you are coming with your prophet. I will then confront you in an open spot which there are plenty of on tundra/release. If you beam the prophet doesnt shoot any more so all my other hogs get free damage on your prophet. 2-3 dead hogs is no disaster , cause all I have to do is prevent you from delaying me or killing my expo. Giving me more time to get gauss / hornets. Everytime you recall it will take another 2 min. or so before another attack xD on tundra/release. Also I still got my dbomb , althoug I really never use it against prophet

wraiths + ghosts on tundra and then go into wraiths + banshees/vamps. hunters are useless on that map.

verbal wars takes more skill than halo wars.
