It appears that Bungie left a few errors when making Halo: Reach, thus causing the game to become better and more populated than Call of duty: Black Ops.
I can probably solve half of the reasons why people quit and/or dislike this game.
These are simple, but not great solutions to the problems with Halo: Reach. I’ll explain them to you:
When on the matchmaking lobby, you can choose what type of Halo player you are. This is optional, and can be changed anytime.
-Beginner: For new players trying to learn how to play the game.
-Regular: For players who want to play the game the way its meant to be played.
-Heroic: For competitive players who look forward to winning.
-Mythic: For players who want to play the game differently ten the way it’s intended to be played.
This could solve the complaints people have with Halo: Reach. Being matched with a bunch of Generals who are better than you just sucks -Yoink-.
If this isn’t the solution. They should at least have players matched based on their skill level.
That isn’t all. We move on to the community.
Bungie failed to release a title update AND they failed to answer all the questions their fellow players has. When will firefight versus return? Will bloom get removed? All that stuff is not getting answered until October 4 2011. This is the problem with game developers, they think they are so popular that they don’t answer simple questions about their game. I don’t think asking about the return of firefight versus isn’t something to keep secret to.
Bungie failed to release any information on firefight versus and ignored everyone’s suggestions. Presumably decreasing the popularity of reach and increasing the popularity of black ops.
Some of the problems is that players are abusing their own teammates, quitting, and idling. Think you have the right to do that? I recommend getting some professional help right now.
Here is some things that could help increase the popularity of halo: reach:
Active Camouflage: When using the active camouflage, players should be completely invisible, even when they are shooting. The point of active camoflauge is to sneak up on the enemy and probably confuse them as well. Being visible when you are moving only gives away your position. Thinks it’s fine? That’s your opinion, not mine.
Firefight Spawns: Players should spawn in a location where it is safe. I don’t care about the problem. I’m sick of people being spawned in one location JUST to be raped by the grenades being thrown. I also don’t think it’s funny to be placed in a place where a hammer-wielding chieftain is waiting.
Quit Bans: The worst thing about this ‘quit ban’ is that it is only 10 minutes. It should be 30 minutes and if they continue, the whole 24-hour period. I’m sick of quitters waiting 10 full minutes and then coming back on matchmaking and then continue ruining the game experience.
Scoring System: The bad thing about this system is that once you kill you or your teammate, your team is docked 1 point. Griefers can easily kill themselves several times and then ruin the team’s experience. What about docking a kill from the griefer himself, and not the entire team? That helps perfectly.
All of these will probably solve half of the problems with Halo: Reach. I hope 343i is able to fix these.
