Yes, it’s probably a place holder but I’m going to assume it isn’t. On previous Halo covers John seemed to be in deep thought and oddly at peace on the Halo 2 and 3 cover. Halo 1, yes he was going to shoot something but Halo was taking its first baby steps then.

That Halo 4 cover is like John’s going to kick the -Yoink- out of something and he’s not like that (unless at war), he just does what he has to do in his life. But he might be on the verge of breaking mentally (which I hope he is at breaking point for story reasons) and he’s lost a little composure.

What do you think forum goers?

I think it is fine. It adds a new look to the game that people wouldn’t expect much. When I first saw it I got so happy, it is a nice cover.

My problem with it is that it simply doesn’t look as good as the past ones. Halo 3’s box art was EASILY the best; stunning cover. I do like the idea of having a cover depicting Master Chief having a mental breakdown of sorts though.
