I just had this thought. Could the Primordial mostly likely be the Ancient Evil in Halo 4. Is there something more ancient and evil than the Didact himself? Of course! The Primordial. What do you think?
You should read Halo: Primordium.
> You should read Halo: Primordium.
i did. I guess contradicted myself… -_-
I think he is Implying there is more then one primordial when the primordial says " Its your duty to kill this servant so that another may be freed.
Well, I’ll offer my own 2 cents regardless.
The primordial is “dead”, but I don’t think the primordial is anything more than an advanced gravemind. I basically think that graveminds are a link between the last precursor and the flood. The last precursor very well could be some mythical space cthulu that exists only in slipspace or something, but those details aren’t important. Basically, when a gravemind is formed, a psychic link is formed between the precursor and the flood, where it can then assume control of them. It uses the gravemind to speak and all that jazz. So the thing that spoke in Halo 2/3, and the thing that spoke to the didact was the same thing, it was just using a different gravemind to convey its message. It explains why the gravemind in 2/3 seemingly knew about what happened a hundred thousand years ago.
So I think the precursor could still be at large, and could be the evil. I theorize that requiem is a prison that is containing the last precursor. They find it in silentium and build requiem around it, then they task didact and the prometheans (in their new and improved flood immune forms) to guard it eternally, or at least until humanity returns to power so a real cure/solution can hopefully be found, as the nature of the beast means that it cannot be killed by conventional means.
But some real -Yoink!- goes down, a halo ring appears near requiem, and then something or someone frees the precursor at the end of Halo 4.
Or something.
well i guess it is still the evil didact.
- Hes ancient
- He was abandoned on a flood infect star system. and they must have done this for a reason since they held a mantle.
- He was Evil.
- To us he was considered evil for the grudge he had against humans, as he devolved us and destroyed our technology and for not giving him the cure to the flood.Thats pretty dammn evil to me

Then why would Frankie call him noble heroic and feels like a good character and on your 4th point i thought that was the master builder not his doing.
> You should read Halo: Primordium.
well the Primordial did say that he was th elat of “his” kind implying that there may be more. Also didn’t he say that his “kind” fled and escaped?? I remember something along that line.

This is all from Primordium Chapter 41.
Primordial “The ones who created you were defied and hunted most were extinguished a few fled beyond your reach creation continued”.
The Ur-Didact is the main enemy for Halo 4, and will introduce the main enemy in the next game.

are you sure its the Ur Didact?? what about bornstellar

that would make a lot of sense and a great theory Wazz

I think it’s the Ur-Didact, but they’ve been pretty vague.

This Is what I as thinking…I think the one that releases the Primordial at the end will be ONI or DR.HALSEY since she is being influenced by ONI. I think Medicant Bias might play a role in halo 4 and possibly be the reason why the Halo is near REQUIEM becuase it teleported it there or maybe tricked ONI into putting it there…IT might now even be MEdicant Bias…IT could be 343 guilty spark since it took over that Unsc ship at the end of PRimordium.

The Bornstellar Didact was accompanying the Librarian picking up samples and specimens of species for Re-seeding while the Ur-Didact was out there trying to stop the Flood and convince the Librarian to return behind the Maginot Line.
Ultimately, the Ur-Didact failed at both and was forced to activate the Halo Array. He had to kill everyone he ever knew and loved because the Humans did not share ‘The Cure’. I believe he will continue to attack Humanity until the Librarian comes out from Kelekos to temper him. She may be accompanied by the Bornstellar Didact, but it all depends on how the Librarian escaped the firing of the Array.
If it is how I believed it happened, that she used the Cryptum on Earth that the Ur-Didact originally used when he was sent to be in exile, then the Librarian would be the only survivor, and the Bornstellar Didact would be dead. Unless a Cryptum can carry more than one occupant, which doesn’t seem likely.

Mendicant Bias is probably dead and 343 Guilty Spark IS dead. You are refering to Chakas who is a separate individual, Spark was one of his fragments.

probably…im going with maybe…there is still a chance that he may make an appearance in halo 4…only time will tell

that all depends on what Bornstellar was doing. Only Silentium can answer those questions and or Halo 4 will hopefully shed some light on that.

Silentium already has.
"…Evidence-gathering agents known collectively as Catalog have been dispatched to collect testimony from the Librarian and both Didacts: the Ur-Didact, treacherously abandoned in a Flood-infested system, and the Bornstellar Didact, who accompanies the Librarian as she preserves specimens against the dire possibility of Halo extermination…

Can you link me the interview from where he said that?
