So as we approach the release of Halo MCC theres one thing im starting to realize about how preordering a physical copy can be more of a pain than it would be to preorder digital copies. Had i preorderd a digital copy i would have been able to have the game installed already and just play when the game is released as well as recieve the perks of the normal (physical copy) preorder in this case the skull. The fact that i have to wait to buy own the game and wait even longer just to play it only because i have purchased a physical copy really is a smack to the face. People might say why didnt I just purchase the Digital copy and have avoided all of this but the truth in many cases people were unaware of this option or maybe they have something else going on. some may prefer to have a physical copy because although we are taking steps to the futre of gaming actually being able to hold that game in your hands brings about a feeling that most just would not understand. if there is a way to download the game while still having purchased the physical copy before release please inform me on how so that i can help spread the word and help others with this problem as well.
Only way to get physical and digital is to buy it twice, and at this point it might not even be finished downloading by the time. Those extra few hours won’t matter within a week, though.
