The Precursors WILL return

Let’s be honest, the Precursors will indeed return, there’s no denying it. They are the most intelligent beings in the galaxy, and you can’t kill off all of them. I’m just getting this vibe that somewhere in the Reclaimer Saga, the Precursors will announce their return and we must fight for our existence from being extinguished by our creators.

IMO I don’t see the Precursor’s as an evil race that want’s to destroy all and control the galaxy alone. Instead I believe they are testing the full technological and biological potential of both the Forerunner and Human races in order to decide which race should without a doubt oversee the growth and well-being of the Milky-Way. In addition I believe that the precursors created the Flood in order to administer these tests or if not my other theory is that the Precursors are the Flood. Just my two cents.

I hope so… The Forerunners aren’t all that evil and now that the Ur-Didact is dead I believe the human-Forerunner relationship is heading that place where they are half friends, half enemies like Elites in Halo 2, with a bigger threat coming to both their focuses. Then we’ll have the Born-Didact and Master Chief first fighting one another and then becoming BFFs when the Precursors come to play with a new master plan akin to the Flood, if not the Flood itself. I do believe the ACTUAL Precursors won’t make an in-game appearance (Terminsls excluded) until Halo 6, if at all (they probably won’t).

Evil or not, those tests are unlikely to be taken kindly by humanity.

That being said, beyond maybe a boss, or 1 unit amongst others, I dont see precusors being fought as a common enemy. At their point in technology, you dont create weapons to fight, you “simply” create species to do it for you (like the flood).

What we saw of the flood was the flood crawling its way up from specimens, not an invasion/‘test’ force.

Of all the races, Forerunners now returned in the flesh.

No doubt about 343’s willingness to ressurect just about anything to get another twist going.

What? The Forerunners sacrificed thier race to stop the flood the first time. Only foreunner i know of was the didact and hes dead.

No and no. The Forerunner didn’t sacrifice themselves. They went into exile. And the Didact isn’t dead.

The Didact may or may not be dead, depending on how you see it. There really isn’t any proof either way.

We do know that, at the very least, the Bornstellar Didact is most likely alive, as he was on the Ark when the Halo rings fired. No doubt there were others there with him.
