The Positives! (No Grenade Indicator?!)

As a “Classic Fan” That didn’t enjoy Halo 4, I have to admit that Halo 5 does look far more interesting than Halo 4, I’m definitely looking forward to giving it a go, which I couldn’t say before Halo 4 was released.
-The return of the old Radar! This is a serious game changer (a positive one!) Halo 4’s Radar had far too much range, it’s nice to see that the radius is on par with Halo2/Halo 3.

-The Return of Descope! This brings back one of the elements of skill that Halo 4 was missing, it was almost impossible to win a long range dual if you were 2 bullets behind, In Halo 2-3 and even Reach I was capable of coming back from being “One shot” (before I had even responded with my first shot) and then winning the dual, one reason being because of Descope!

-No Loadouts
-No Perks
-No Personal Ordnance
-No random weapon spawns
-No Grenade Indicator
-Equal Spawn, everyone starts off with the same traits
-Shields don’t regen whilst sprinting
-The Sniper reticule is now smaller, back to how it was during CE-3
-Shorter Shield Regen Time
-Timer that indicates when the Shield will Regen

However, there’s one thing I’m uncertain on, is there a respawn time?

  • Aiming reticle finally got centered in the middle of the screen (haven’t had that since Halo CE).

I am curious what the FOV is.

I am so excited.

Field Of View

I like that I get my health meter back. I don’t care about the regen so much as its ability to be a tilt factor in a few but still critical moments. I also get a Thruster Pack with my Sprint and they’ve been tweaked to allow for even more mobility, both defensive and offensive (as well as infinite running!!!).
