The fireteam leader would have the ability to choose which modes to have active/deactivate when searching in any social playlist. Social playlists would essentially act the same as the MCC Match Composer.

Arena - Slayer (AR/Sidekick), BR Slayer, Strongholds, Oddball, Attrition, CTF, KOTH, Land Grab, Team Snipers (S7s Only), Kong Slayer, Purple Reign, Ninja Slayer, Skockets, Fiesta, Tactical Slayer, etc.

Rumble Pit - Slayer (AR/Sidekick), HCS Slayer, Vampire Oddball, Snipers (S7s Only), Fiesta, Escalation Slayer (Gun Game), Ninja Slayer, Skockets, Kong Slayer, Crazy King, Juggernaut, One in the Chamber (Tactical Slayer Settings. Spawn with one bullet. Kills generate a bullet).

Doubles - Slayer (AR/Sidekick), BR Slayer, Oddball, CTF, KOTH, Dodgeball, Team Snipers (S7s Only), Fiesta, Kong Slayer, Purple Reign, Ninja Slayer, Skockets.

Big Team Battle - Slayer (AR/Sidekick), BR Slayer, CTF, Total Control, Stockpile, Fiesta, Team Snipers (S7s Only), Skockets.

Rotating Playlist - Grifball, Last Spartan Standing, Rocket Dodgeball, etc.

Featured Forge Playlist - Refreshed weekly with a selection of the best Forge maps/modes.

Ranked:
Arena (4v4)
Lone Wolves (6 Player FFA)
Doubles (2v2)
Rotating Playlist

Arena - Slayer, Strongholds, CTF, Oddball
Lone Wolves - Slayer
Doubles - Slayer, Oddball, CTF
Rotating - 4v4 Survivors, FFA Snipers, 4v4 Team Snipers, 2v2 Dodgeball, 2v2 Team Snipers, 4v4 Tactical Slayer, etc.

Finally a Custom Games Browser would be able to fill in the gaps.

Agreed, I cant stand the lack of threads on here not demanding some of the playlists come back. I guess people really like being forced mainly into 4v4 matches. I really miss doubles and ffa

The removal pf 2v2 in ranked have really killed my motivation to play.

Some playlist is essential to the halo experience in ranked, and i agree with you.

Lone wolf 1v1
Double 2v2

Those should be there all the time. Then they can add a rotation playlist if they want.

Right now there are 2x 4v4 gamemode in ranked… i mean who thought that would be a good idea.

They should realy have a objective-only playlist. Every playlist is either only slayer of mixed in with slayer. The Objective type comunity has no playlist for their preference.

i think its better to split the Big team battle in 2 diffrend game mode’s.
like big team slayer and big team objective for the social playlist.

and why most griftball become a rotation playlist when its a standart in a lot off other halo game’s.
its most become a permanete in social like it has always been.

its better to make the new game type’s in the rotation list then old game type’s that people like more to play again.
since there can see if its a good new game type or not more like a test playlist for the new game type’s to test out if a lot off people like it.

A pure ranked slayer list is needed… like we had in every freaking halo. -.-

I love this lay out for the social playlist. The unfortunate thing is that 343 can moved on and away from the “social” side of things as top priority sadly. Socializing is what made Halo great and truly the only way to bring it back to that level of excitement and joy.

The purpose of all the social playlists I laid out was to act like the MCC match composer. It means that every fireteam size is supported in social. Then it gives the player complete control over which modes they play, since they are able to activate/deactivate modes in each individual playlist search. So if you are searching for Big Team Battle (12v12) games, you have complete control whether you allow the matchmaking to put you into games of slayer, snipers, fiesta, etc.

The purpose of this is to streamline the game. With this system, there would rarely be a need to introduce an entirely new social playlist. If its a new 4v4 mode, the option becomes available for the player to select in the arena playlist. This also means player population is more evenly spread across a more limited number of playlists while simultaneously supporting more modes.

and for how long do you think people are going starting to complain that there game type not get much players like Stockpile if its the most hate game type by a lot off people then the population there will be crap more to not start a match at all.
since you are waiting for a long long time to find people.

there need to go back with the multiplayer to the old day’s more.
from here are a lot off playlist’s to choose out from, you can vote with your lobby for the game type’s and start playing it and later go back to the lobby to vote again for the next game type.

people are not going to wait long before there find the people there need to start the match if the game type is the worst in the communety.

spliting the population only more with this idea is not going to do anything good at all only make things more worse then there are now.

what we need now is a good strong basic permenate playlist’s for both ranked and social that make things stabele again and the old voting system/lobby most return then its much fair.

I’m so sick of the spoon fed “playlist” BS. It isn’t 2007 anymore, let us just pick individual game modes from a list and only queue for those. That’s how Call of Duty does it, hell that’s even how Splitgate does it. I absolutely do not want to get shoved in Slayer and Attrition matches just so I can play the objective modes I actually want to play.

COD game’s have always have been using the same playlist in each cod game its 95% off the playlist there are always the basic one’s there use in each cod game.
its maybe 5% or lower that there add also a new playlist in it but its always the same that make a return in each cod game.

and for splitgate is something you cant call a game since its more a beta game and its also stoping with update’s soon.

the playlist’s most more look like this:

  • Big team Slayer = have all the slayer version game type’s there are in it to choose from basic slayer to heavy slayer.
  • Big team objective’s = have all the objective game type’s in it like CTF,stronghold,Stockpile, etc.
  • then living death has its own playlist.
  • griftball has there own playlist.
  • social slayer and social objective’s that are 4 vs 4.

with this 6 permanete social playlist’s is it all much better and a lot off game type’s can be play under the same playlist like it has been for years all.

You are completely missing the point here. Have you played the Master Chief Collection (MCC)? Because if you play social matchmaking in that game you will understand this better.

The current playlist system locks you into a certain gametype(s) with a certain number of players. My system would allow you to search for as many gametypes as you like at the same time. The playlists themselves are basically only there to set the team sizes.

Your proposed playlists completely removes 2v2, ffa, etc. from the game. My system accommodates everything you ask for without being restrictive in any way. Less populated modes will actually get MORE players because people wont feel restricted to playing only one mode at a time.

But people also have the choice to deactivate the modes they don’t like. So for your example of people wanting to play regular BTB without modes like snipers, fiesta, etc. They have the option to turn it off.

And there isn’t a problem with any modes not being populated since they wouldn’t be taking up an entire playlist slot. You just wont be able to find a game in that particular mode. It wouldn’t have any effect on your matchmaking unless you only have that specific mode active.

i have play MCC look on my service record from halowaypoint and on trueacievements site.
do i have play the matchmaking then no since it was at launch so broken and a mess so i left the matchmaking and was more focus on playing the campaigns there and soon also left it since it was getting boring at some point.
and soon after that i was playing halo 5 more.

call the 2 vs 2 team double’s for ranked playlist like it always has been.
the FFA you can easy add in the social slayer playlist and social objective’s then you can make it Oddball FFA for social objective’s and FFA slayer for social slayer playlist’s.

you cant make all the people happy with the things there wane have always there are limits.
if people not wane play Fiesta in a BTB playlist there can leave the lobby.
that has been around for years.
the only problem is that in halo infinite you have no waiting lobby’s any more that you have a chance to leave the lobby without getting a quitting bann at some point what we have now when you enter a random lobby and you not like the game type at all.

and still if there for some god reason add something like that you can choose what for game type you wane play its still compleet useless for now and for a long time since the multiplayer in halo infinite is compleet broken and has the worst reputation also.
so first you need to have a good playerbase and a stable population without that idea’s like this are compleet useless.

Its becoming clear that its pointless to argue this with you. You arent listening to or understanding what I am saying.

How can leaving every game you dont like be a better system than having the choice of being put into that game in the first place? The system I suggest works BETTER than the current system, even with a low population. It allows you to search EVERYTHING at once if thats what you want. It gives the choice to the player entirely. The system has been proven to work better in MCC, recent Call of Dutys, Splitgate, etc. It is much more effective at finding games faster, providing more variety and supporting a lower population.

i have play a lot off cod game’s also and not only halo game’s back in the old day’s.

i know really good that cod game’s has there own mode’s but the only diffrend between cod and halo in game mode’s is that halo has a lot off diffrend game type’s and then i mean a lot from all the halo serie’s.

in cod there always use the same game type’s only sometime’s there add something new in it or remove something from it.
but here is the diffrend between cod and halo game type’s
cod game’s have been release for year after year base (lucky there stop there with it now) by 3 diffrend company’s that develop then.
and also let me tell you this as a cod player.
in most off the cod titels there also complain about the same thing we have in halo.
that in objective’s playlist’s a lot off people give no crap about the objective like domination but turn it in a Team Deathmatch match same with halo where players turn any objective’s game type in a slayer match and not care about the objective’s at all for the same reason in both cod and halo why there do it.

same with splitgate i have play that also and it has less game type’s to choose out from not like halo with its big list off diffrend game type’s.
only thing is splitgate is losing also there playerbase now its not that big anymore like it was before.

and btw MCC is a collection from 5 halo game’s so something like that is needed if you have a lot off game type’s in 1 game with diffrend settings it has and a lot off maps diffrends between all 5 halo’s.

edit: for my part there can try it out in the matchmaking playlist system you think its good but i can tell you this now that a lot off people are going starting to complain about it that there game type there wane play not get much players and most wait really long before there can play it and that the populier game type’s get the bigst population from the game.
