Just watched a Ready Up Live video and guess what? The Plasma Rifle looks life it’s going to be in Warzone firefight, which means that we’re getting the Plasma Rifle back!!! How bloody cool is that?
Hopefully, it’ll be the CE version in terms of damage, otherwise it can join the ranks of the spiker, plasma repeater, and every other variation of the plasma rifle as useless.

Let’s hope a variation of the Plasma Rifle shoots like the Blissful Slumber, and is called the “Scarab Gun”. That’d be cool.

I think it will be more akin to the brute plasma rifle in ODST. Good range and doesn’t overheat too fast…single handed weapon, so I’d imagine that would be the primary inspiration.

I never understood why the more advanced games would have things missing from the previous games or downgraded things from the previous games. I think it’s great that with this system 343 is given the opportunity to add these types of things in.

Seeing as that applies to vehicles, unlikely. Probably going to be similar to the repeater.

That’s… actually a very good assumption.
I dont believe the plasma rifle was in service long enough to get a “swords” variant. Correct me if Im wrong, though.

Oh right, it’s only for vehicles. It could be like the storm rifles where we have one blue, one yellow, and one red.
