The Plan: MCC

Do not make nonconstructive posts.

Guys I’ve got a great idea. Let’s build a compilation game of all the main Halo games to date, a real system seller of our flagship franchise, a franchise that saved the original Xbox and is largely the reason we’re even still in the video game business. We’ll have original online multiplayer for all the titles. Big promises, big hype. A perfect game of nostalgia for all our fans of the Halo games.
It can be a real system seller in the run up to Halo 5. Have people spend all kinds of money on new hardware just to play this game, live accounts, extra controllers for splitscreen and everything. A real money maker.
But let’s launch it in a completely broken state, piss off all our fans, hardly fix it, give people no other way to play these classic games, ignore our promises, then release “Halo” 5 taking out all kinds of elements that made Halo great in the first place and making excuses about it, simultaneously break MCC matchmaking, which was barely working as it was, and then abandon all the fans that invested in us just so we can keep supporting a new game that hardly has anything to do with Halo at all.
Good plan 343. Real good plan.
