The pistol is not a problem. A bad player isn’t going to run around and get kills with it, and besides, how is the pistol any different from spawning with a BR, which is far better in this game.
I think most people are complaining about it are people that are either going against people who are really skilled at using it, or had a really bad match with it while everyone else was using it like pros and just hates it because of it.
they have played tested it for as years now so they would have it balanced a long time ago

Agreed! Everyone crying nerf can go back to Destiny or CoD. Halo has always been about learning how the game operates and changing your play style to fit your surroundings. If the gun isn’t getting you kills or killing you too much, it is your problem (NOT THE GUNS)! Everyone starts with the same load-outs, everyone has the same choice when it comes to picking up or leaving the same weapons, and everyone has to adapt. If that isn’t balanced, I don’t know what is!

If anything, I think it might shoot too slow.
But the Pistol is still awesome. I love it.
I’m still waiting for my disc to arrive so I haven’t played yet (obviously). Is the pistol drastically different than it was in the beta? I thought it was great then and just the way it needed to be.

I would say it shoots as fast as the BR but takes 1 more head shot to kill and the DMR shoots faster but requires the same amount of headshots…Just my opinion.
Hopefully 343 doesn’t cave in to those who are clueless/bad.
Idk whether to stand up for the pistol or to just ignore those threads to make them more likely to sink.

The pistol seems balanced with the AR from what I have seen which is perfect. Slightly better if you’re skilled but harder to use.
Pistol is not to be nerfed! I love that noobs actually will realize how bad they are in H5. In H4 any first time player could BR 4-shot. H5 is giving noobs a reality check.
