We all know that people are disappointed with the lack of Forge and Coop for the first few weeks.
The community is very divided about wanting to play the solo campaign this year or delaying the game for the next year because people want to play it exclusively Coop first.
So what about people that don’t care about the Coop being out of the game for the very first weeks be able to play the game when it launches and people that want to play the campaign coop delays their purchase of the game until it’s on the game?

That would be the logical approach, but unfortunately people are stating that if they delay getting the game they will be spoiled.

It’s a ridiculous thought. People play these games more than once. Do the second run on co op on legendary, or looking for collectibles, or LASO, or looking for Easter eggs. The first solo run can be for story spoilers.

Halo is made first and foremost as a single player game anyways. They just make the game dynamic so it’s incredibly fun with friends.

This, people forget this and take the features for granted.

Welcome to the Halo community lol.
I’ve played every Halo co-op in my first run except Halo 5 because it had no splitscreen and we only had 1 xbox. Why would I want to experience Halo alone for the first time when I can share that with my brother and best mates that I played Halo CE with?
Co-op is a part of campaign. If co-op isn’t ready then campaign isn’t ready.

I can see that point, but My buddy that i grew up with and I have always played the game together on legendary all the way through in one night. Now when we were teens that was fine. but as we became adults and had families and live farther away from each other, co-op was the only practical way to do it. We would run all the missions and beat the game together the first night it came out and then we would play online multipler for the rest of the time. It’s a tradition thats now going to be broken. we are both going to have it day one but now we will play online play and won’t play the missions until co-op. we could but we didn’t want to break that traditions as well as we have been doing it for half of our life. i get it, crap happens, but it still sucks.

That jumps the gun on the whole momentum of the launch. It’s best that the whole community gets to play the full finished game at launch, because that’s best for the game’s success in the long run
The decision 343i have made I’m fine with. It’s a compromise and is the best of both worlds. The lesser of two evils.
We get to play the game, and forge & co op features are coming soon after launch.
It’s not like we don’t have the game to play at all.
All these calls to delay the game again are just ridiculous. The game isn’t in some form of danger zone, it’s not a mess like the 2020 showing was. The game is solid and will hold us over until co op and forge comes.

No what’s more ridiculous is assuming everyone’s situation is the same. Many people only have 1 console and share there’s and I seriously doubt they want to wait till the other person is finished just to have it spoiled because they couldn’t complete it first or with them. Some people play it more than once and some don’t. I’m more likely to play solo run on legendary on 1st playthrough but at the same time I’m willingly to let it delay so people don’t have to have their games spoiled
