Hey guys, Luke TheNotable on youtube has just posted a podcast featuring Favyn, The Act Man and Samaritan from Chaotix Gaming. In this podcast (Called steaktacular) they bring up a lot of interesting concepts and alterations to the current req system which would allow 343 to still monetize Halo via micro-transactions without them being intrusive while also implementing an achievement based reward system. They come up with some great ideas to not replace the req system, but improve on it benefiting both 343, Microsoft and the players.
The system that they discuss would allow the player to feel as if they are actually achieving something in game without the rng aspect yet keeping the req system in tact. This would allow 343 to continue to provide the player with post-launch free DLC benefiting the player. Even the bare-bones concept that they developed during the video is enough to give me comfort in halos future - that is if 343 watches it and builds off of this system
Listening to this podcast gave me high hopes for what 343 has in store for us in the future with Halo 6. This system could bring new players in while satisfying the current players. I have not described the system as it would take quite a lot of paragraphs to explain it, so please, if you truly believe in halo’s potential to become great again and wish for it to return to its rightful place on the shelves as the Titan of Xbox and sci-fi arena shooters GO AND WATCH THE VIDEO.

if you think its too long to watch, I get it, but if you are a true halo fan who has been here since CE and you want to see halo built back up into the huge title it once was then you will not regret spending these 50 minutes
