Who else thinks that the DMR would be perfect if it had ZB but the ROF was equal to what the 85% bloom was if you paced your shots perfectly, if that makes any sense. For instance, if you waited until the exact moment the reticule reset in 85% bloom, that IMO would work the best. The rate of fire of the DMR is just crazy and is just WAY too frantic and doesn’t feel like Halo.
yea i feel like the DMR fires about 20% too fast with ZB (being fired optimally by shooting as fast as possible)
ROF is an annoyance with ZB but a bigger problem IMO is the fact that movement acceleration is still present in ZB settings, not to mention the other Reach mechanics.
In order to balance out competitive play there still needs to be some tweets to the overall game type.
Yeah, a slightly increased space between shots would be a bit better.
Definitely needs a decrease in RoF.
Without bloom, the DMR defiantly needs a decrease in RoF
