We can have visible ranks. They do not have to be 1-50. They don’t have to be numbers so long as they work similarly to how 1-50 worked, while getting rid of some of the flaws it had.
We need a ranking system based on wins-loss.
And all players who like visible ranks hated Halo 1 because it had no ranking system. See I could be dumb too.

I thought arena was based on individual performance…

But a lot of people like progressing and achieving that 50. To take that away is taking away the fun for some people.

Arena (S1-6) was the first and only Halo ranking system based on individual performance.
They should bring back H3’s ranking system.
But at the same time, I would like to be able to unlock stuff by playing social.
I don’t like the feeling in H3 that I am not going anywhere by playing BTB. BTB is my favorite playlist, and I would like to feel like I am accomplishing/unlocking something by playing it.

I just played a few games of Arena to see how “competitive” it is. It is full of campers who only know how to use the shotgun and the sword. It pissed me off so much that I rage quit, and had my friend finish off the game for me. The arena system needs to burn in the most fiery place in hell. Oh, did I mention that these campers were all Onyx? Just thought you all should know.
Bring back the 1-50 for the sake of Halo!
What about Halo 3’s ranked / social playlists. Is there anything wrong with that approach?
I could care less if there is a 1-50 system. As long as it doesn’t impede on rank.
I want 1-100 BPR ranks.
Im not saying they shouldn’t have them. Im saying that since I don’t care I will not aid in your begging of 343 for 1-50.

Oh because it’s beyond your thought processes that things like these can’t be improved upon. No way a ranking systems problems can be corrected, no way let’s all be close minded and hate the MLG crowd because that’s some waypoint users do!
BPR is fail. Far too easy. Bring back Halo 2 ranks. There was hardly any account stealing, boosting and streaking because it was just such a prestigious number to reach.
