The Park is a 4v4 asymmertical map built on the island, there is good height elevations and lines of sight, no one position is to dominant and each set up is countered with team work, this is the secound true asymmetrical map that i’ve built and the first one i’m releasing.

EDIT: There is a plasma repeater on the map w/ a 15 second respawn and another of 30 second respawn.

Maybe you should make the download link a bit more obvious. I found it by chance.

er, thanks, fixed that.

When we played on it the other day, I found it to be very fun and it definitely had some really nice asethetics and creative pieces.

seriously? i didn’t even touch there respawn times, i left them at default.

either way its just a minor in-balance that doesn’t effect anything, they just there if people want to use them but no one ever does.

Did you raise the hard kill above the map, or did you leave it in for jet-packers to hit?

you already know my stance on this, i checked theater and it was your own fault for hitting it twice.

you tried to exploit jet pack on my map, you were punnished for it, you raged at me for trying to prevent jet pack exploiting as much as possible which i take as a compliment so it is staying where it is.

It wasn’t an exploit. The second time I hit the hard kill, I was in mid field fight, when I used my jet-pack to go straight up. I wasn’t trying escape the map or camp on a building, which is what you should use the hard kills to prevent.

A soft kill over the general play field is sufficient to deter excessive jet-packing.

you where trying to abuse jet pack to get an extreme height advantage to win a battle, this extreme height advantage will break the lines of sight on the map, allowing people to go to high will encourage people to exploit this flaw like you were trying to do.

soft kills don’t deter a jet packer, you can sit in them for 10 secounds and drop down, it doesn’t help when jet pack will run out before the 10 secound mark that high up so the soft kill won’t be doing anything at all, that is why the hard kill is there.

i know how to use kill bounderies thanks so there is no need to tell me how to use them, i’ve even gone and hard killed all the main preasure pushing exploits on the map to make it as exploit proof as possible.

one of my territory respawn zones wasn’t st up correctly causing dynamic spawning in objective and restricting spawning to the top half of the map in slayer, F…

anyway, that is now fixed so the spawning should be better.
