This is not a modern shooter but an arena shooter. All your points are valid so this type of game might not be for you. Nothing wrong with that.
that was more in reference to the non halo faster paced games. not halo 5. Even halo 5 is better to me than alot of modern super low ttk run n gun shooters
My point is that those moves compeleted the combat loop.
Any move you can do I was also able to do.
Oh you Sprint, slide, thrust, jump, stabilize ?
Well I can do litterally the same exact thing.
In halo infinite. āOh you picked up a grappleā well let me just pick up the other grap⦠Oh wait. There isnāt one. You canāt match moves anymore. The guy that swung away to the flag half way across the map? Too bad. Shouldāve spawned on the grapple like he did.
You donāt get it. Sprint. Does. Not. Work. By. Itself.
Itās been tried in Halo reach. Itās been tried in halo 4. And every single time it leads to boring stale and slow gameplay.
If Halo 5 HCS settings are not the direction we are headed in then classic is the only other option.
Donāt come to me with terms like strong siding if your of the opinion that thruster is an escape tool.
I knew all the moves in halo 5. Knee caps. Gandhi hoping. Spring jumping. You name it. I knew it and most of the time I taught people these moves. And I can tell you for a fact that Sprint by itself ruins the gameplay loop. All those special moves can now be countered by a Sprint lunge technique
go play halo 5 then. damn. ill stick to infinite and the classic ce, 2 and 3.
the issues u are having sound very petty and easy to counter just by positioning yourself well and being good enough to land shots so i dont see your issue at all. but if u dont like it dont play. But im still fairly certain most halo fans prefer infinite over 5 and non of your issues are the majorities issues. most people just want better servers, better store, anti-cheat, more game modes and things like that.
Dashing out of the line of sight from the initial aggressor after whiffing the shot while simultaneously transitioning to engage a flanker. Then casually jumping behind a recessed pillar to avoid that fight too because dash isnāt the only defensive tool in Halo 5ās toolbox.
Sounds like youāre just butt hurt that people could get away from you and outplay you in H5. Sounds like you want players to have limited movement so you can shoot fish in a barrelā¦1337 skills, man.
Pretty sure yall just got trolled. He hasnāt responded at all, this post was made in Nov
I completely disagree.
Overall look sensitivity is to slow for controller.
Try changing your inner and axial dead zones and look acceleration.
Sprint is to slow.
Mantling is to slow.
Jumping is to slow.
Itās just right. If you donāt want to mantle on most jumps, then learn how to crouch jump. Sprint is 9%-ish faster than running. Thatās how it should be to create a balanced weapon sandbox with diverse maps. Any faster and every gun has to work like a laser and every map needs breaks in the sightlines every three ft.
Hip fire is to accurate therefore making ADS obsolete
ADS for most guns just zooms without an increase in accuracy. Compared to Halo 5, this is a godsend.
All in all, this game is to slow and doesnāt engage the modern player enough to bring any sense of immersion.
Iāll try to keep playing. However, I was already saying this game is boring from only the third match I played.
I donāt care what the āModern player,ā Wants. I care about what I want, and I like the game. I donāt even think thereās such thing as a monolithic āModern player.ā I think this game caters to a different kind of gameplay style that hasnāt been catered to in a while. I like that and maybe you donāt. I recommend getting good and having fun before you cast it off, but even if itās not your kind of game, fine. Go play something else.
