343, (any business really), works from metrics. The data they get is what they will use for profit. If the metrics are saying they are getting a huge amount of money from the microtransactions, they’ll continue to push them. The only way to make a change is to stop buying it. If you guys want the armors to reduce in price or the battlepass to change, we need to a.) Not buy anything else further and b.) Continue to voice your opinions and thoughts for 343 and the community to see. Things can change. And its likely on us to do it in a sense.

lol that won’t help. They’ll end up selling the multiplayer and keep the mtx just so that they can get their money in
That’s exactly the right approach to take if you believe strongly in it.
Just don’t be surprised if others don’t follow suit.
Personally I’m kinda bored of the complaints about it, because as this topic already explains, the numbers will be the difference maker. No amount of topics will influence the mx store if the numbers are within the desired metrics. They’ll keep on as they are.
Based on what I’ve seen in game and on my friends list, the store is popping off right now.

In an ideal world your logic makes sense.
But right now, we’re in a time where people are willing to buy consoles from scalpers for double msrp, and GPU’s that are priced over $2,000.
If we can’t get people to stop doing that crap, then winning this particular battle will be nearly impossible.

It might not have been apparent from my post, but I’m all for microtransactions in games.
I’d never pay more for something than what I think it’s worth, but that’s true for anyone really. Scalpers do what they do because people with lots of money will pay them for the convenience and ease, availability. It’s a tough pill at times but $5 to me could be $500 to someone else.

I keep thinking of that episode from the simpsons were smithers is a mad barbie doll collector helping Lisa with her doll. They release the same doll with a “Hat” and smithers lost his crap and put all common thought out the window for his collection
