The only way halo can return to it's glory!!!

I don’t like halo 4. It’s not a terrible game, but it’s not a good one either, a hollow shell of the Halo universe with the cream filling removed and replaced with something bland and tasteless.

It reminds you of Halo, but it’s not Halo. Nothing is “improved”, it’s just different, and there’s a great deal less of it too. The Prometheans are terrible enemies, not at all fun to fight. Their weapons are boring and uninteresting, and the game’s campaign FORCES them on you. The music is forgettable at best, you can mute it and not notice a difference. The new design ethic feels like it doesn’t even belong in the same evolutionary tree as Halo, especially the new Spartan IVs and Marine BDUs. The new multiplayer format, why try to be like Call of Duty; Halo was distinct, this is just depressing. Spartan OPs makes me miss Firefight, which I originally didn’t care for in the first place, but at least Firefight mixes it up a bit instead of throwing the same mission and recycled audio back at you. Worst of all the fireshare is STILL broken 2 months after release.

It also doesn’t feel worth the asking price. Content-wise it lines up more with ODST than Reach or even 3.

Again, I won’t say it’s a terrible game, it’s just not a good one, and what irritates me is that this is what we’re getting now instead of real Halo.(I liked reach for the most part to)

HERE IS THE FIX(atleast for halo 5):

let me say this if 343i don’t go back to CLASSIC ARENA SHOOTER STYLE GAMEPLAY like halo 1-2-3 with little improvements which change the game alot they will fail. Don’t change it to much but only alittle which can change the gameplay alot e.g equipment, dual wielding and forge(forge seems little if you think about it but creativity from the community makes it big). AA’s changed the gameplay too much so did all those new codified features in halo 4. Like yoinky! loadouts bring back good maps and arena style gameplay like halo 1-2-3 but slightly improved and some new changes, SOME!!!

Most of that 1million who pre-ordered halo 4 never wanted a “codified reach” or another reach they wanted another halo 3.

The only thing I like about cod is that they keep the game the same with every new installment but CHANGE THE GAME VERY SLIGHTLY. Not to much like halo 4 and they don’t rip off much either. I mean look at the new league play they got and the new tranzit mode. They are very little changes but can change the gameplay in a big way to something which halo 1-2-3 used to do.

Halo 4 might be to late but halo 5 won’t be. If halo 5 goes in the direction of halo 4 the sales will be poor indeed.

(you know I have a feeling that i’m going to be banned for saying this because this has happened to me many times before. I say something about the game which is bad and the mods get all angry at me along with the defense force and ban me.Good times, good times indeed…not!)

“We’re taking the game back to it’s roots”
“It still feels like Halo, trust us”
“This game will last for years”

Yes, yes they let us down.

I didn’t know Halo’s roots was loadouts, sprint, AA, perks, join in progress, and every map being the size of Battlefield maps 343.

Define “some changes”

Because that’s what we got with Halo Reach and 4 and a part of the fan base don’t like it. Any change might be drastic to a group. Look at equipment in Halo 3. Again, there was a group that didn’t like those changes.

Again, you won’t be banned for what you say…but HOW you say it. Not sure why that is so hard to understand :-/

Oh some changes:
Equipment-Found on the map and were very useful, short, fast and very useful. Only a 1 TIME USE

Dual wielding- allows to make weapon combos like smg and plasma rifle which were very useful for emergency close calls(atleast to my experience).

Forge- Edit maps or create them(in reach atleast). This mode allowed players to create maps and gametypes with it. E.g Jenga from halo 3

Theatre-See films of the matches you played. Very good for improving.

Too much change:

Loadouts-Changes the game from arena gameplay to class based shooter gameplay.

AA’s-Like equipment but more powerful and can be used as many times as you want. Has a charge metre though. Which charges up really fast. Remember regeneration from halo 3 ye now it’s an AA you can use as much as you want. Tonned down just alittle though.

Tactical packages and support packages-Let’s copy Call of duty by creating perks. Add stuff like mobility and scavenger(don’t know the name it has in halo 4).

Need I say more and btw the people who hated equipment would hate this stuff more and also it’s not a small group who hate halo 4 like halo 3 had it’s the majority of fans. Mostly old fans. Don’t believe me look at the population decline.

Most of 343i employees probably started playing halo when halo reach released. So that must explain it all. 343i are trying to create a “new” game(cod) by expanding on reach and created a “codified reach”. They have a nice halo skin on call of duty modern warfare 3, don’t you agree?
