Oh how society is these days. Majority of the anthropologists believe that the ending of the Mayan Calendar had no significance. Hell my calendar ends every year does that mean the world is ending? No, i get a new one.

Just because your calendar ends on December 31st every year, doesn’t mean the world ends on that date. Its the same with the Mayan calendar

Mayan calandar is a calandar. This is merely the end of a single cycle.
Well, it comes out on November 6th, and the world ends on December 21st, so we’ve actually got closer to a month and a half. 
I hope all of you realize that the Mayan Calender didn’t account for Leap Years. In reality “2012” happened 1-2 years ago!

Must’ve been somewhere online that I heard this. A Mayan descendent (a priest?) had said that the calendar ending doesn’t mark the end of the world, but the end of an era.
