Make the Achilles armor available for purchase. I and many others would rather buy this armor than grind for it. Being able to purchase it would also stop the farming instantly.
Making Achilles for purchase will not stop farming.
People still farm just to rack up kills and sometimes for commendations or for the fun of it.
That’s more of a bandaid rather than a solution. Changes need to be made to Warzone in general. There are absolutely zero preventive measures for farming which is the issue.

343 will not make it available because people keep on complaining.

If that’s the case, they’ll do it no matter the incentive. Apparently, farming is its own reward.

Totally, but I’m talking about a few Spartan Companies that are known for doing it because they’re jerks.
There are others out there that will do it for the armour then stop.
The whole concept of Achilles is great but it has only brought out the worst in people.

I feel like this is more of human nature then a problem with the game. I mean the assault hop out is a major issue that I am seeing more and more people do. I hope this update we see is going to eliminate the problems that have plague warzone for sometime now

Thats a very good point. Sad that the grind is usually takes a month + even if cheating… Just goes to show how much time people waste in their day
grind for it… am i the only one that plays just to play? sure i’d love to have the Achilles armor but if it destroys me having fun then there is no point in “grinding”
I hate the term grinding and the way people use it.
If you give the option for purchasing their will be a major -Yoink!-… I can guarantee that… many will even leave the franchise because 343I puts micro Transactions ahead of their fans who grind for this armor.
Keep the Achilles as a reward. Join a company and play with them. It’s not hard. I seem to get messages everyday inviting me to a company. I’m already in one. Just accept one and you’ll be fighting hard against them too.

me and alot of other people would hate that. the armors not the problem its that people are abusing it, im pretty sure 343 meant for people to casually play for it. my old company did and they probably have the armor already…they kicked me out when we got close to it
Take the shooting out of FPS. Problem solved! What do we cry about next? Assassinations shouldn’t be OHTK? Capping all 3 strongholds should be an instant victory so I don’t have to die while the other team gets cap points? How about, hear me out. We implement a mercy rule in slayer so we can forfeit the second the other team gets a marginal advantage? /sarc

You do realize people “farm” not for the armor right? 343 even checked the amount of killing done before and after the announcement of the armor and there was no significant difference. If you honestly believe people farm for a piece of armor, you are wrong. Spawn killing and trapping has been in ALL FPS’s, it’s an unavoidable property of objective gametypes.
The reason it happens is because players who are getting killed nonstop ALLOW it to happen without LEARNING what to do to prevent it. Spawn killing doesn’t JUST happen, it is set up. Excuses such as: my teammates are bad when I search alone, I don’t have that many friends online, my team doesn’t communicate, it’s due to the armor, etc are incorrect or something that YOU CAN CONTROL and prevent.
Teammates are bad? Why are you searching a TEAM playlist alone?
I don’t have friends online? You are matching players, send them a FR, it’s not like they wont be added to your FR. Afraid of rejection? Tough, life is full of it, and try again.
My team doesn’t communicate? Don’t add those players, and add people who are TALKING

Literally the people who are don’t understand HOW it happens to them will ALWAYS point fingers, but will NEVER look at what they are doing in game. Maybe you are getting spawn killed because you made a bunch of mistakes? (HOW not WHY)

To say spawn killing is unsportsmanlike, is equivalent to saying the people who are getting spawn killed are ‘lacking skill,’ neither one makes sense.
When Seattle crushed Denver in the superbowl, was Seattle’s actions “unsportmanlike” for not stopping? Or was Denver “lacking skill?” NEITHER
Both are irrelevant (the same argument can be made with calling people ‘tryhards’).
You are allowed to play the game HOWEVER YOU WANT, but you CANNOT tell other players how to play. This means just because things aren’t going your way, doesn’t not mean the other players have to listen to you and play the way you want them to. If you want to run around mindlessly and what not, go ahead, that is YOUR CHOICE. If a player on one team chooses to spawn kill, that is the person’s choice. If you are having a conflict with how someone else is playing YOU have to do something about it, because the other person DOES NOT HAVE TO LISTEN TO YOU.
Finally, many players are expecting the spawn to changes. what many FAIL to understand is that the players will figure out what has changed, they will adjust to it, and the spawn killing will repeat, many of you will blame 343 AGAIN, even though they tried (and it wont be 343 fault, it’ll be the community’s). Again, it is an unavoidable property of FPS’s. The REAL solution is to understand HOW it happens, and WHAT must be done to prevent it.
The only legit change, NOT A SOLUTION, but change, is if 343 implemented team vs team, and casuals match casuals. That is the best change that could occur.
How about make some friends and earn it.

Never understood the fun in farming. You can join any random group of 12’s from the LFG and as long as you’re semi-coordinated you can farm. It’s boring, it gets boring. I generally leave after a few games because it’s just sitting there killing randoms who barely fight back. At that point you’re basically playing campaign.
