I don’t much like the R.E.Q. system. I’ve adapted to what Halo has become and, while I’d still like more content, I know it isn’t exactly coming…but, there’s one thing I’d be willing to have another update for that isn’t new game modes or a difficulty adjuster for Firefight (why can’t we just choose from Normal, Heroic, or Legendary with a greater RP reward for higher levels?) and that one thing is more armor reskins:
“Now hold on there Agent Knight…!” you might be saying as you sip the sweet watermelon nectar from a baboon’s skull…“I thought you didn’t like the R.E.Q. system?”
Well I don’t, but I’ll just deal with it. However, one thing I’d like to not deal with is the lack of good variants with some of the armor we have. Take for example, my Helljumper armor. It’s beautiful. It’s a hybrid between Spartan and ODST armor that doesn’t look like someone awkwardly shoved an ODST helmet onto a Spartan and said “meh, whatevs” and went back to watching Game of Drones: Yan’mee Edition.
But for reasons only 343i knows, it has white crap all over it. There’s more white on it than my secondary color!!! Why?!? It’s not even balanced, it’s got a pointless circle on one side! There are many other weird armor variants that suffer the same problem. “What about the other Helljumper variant?” That one has a huge smiley face that looks like the kid found on every Fritos bag, so it’s even worse, and I hate that kid! Don’t look at me with those soulless eyes as I tear into your bag, I need sustenance! He’s judging this guy already!
Anyway, my point is: give us armor variants without any extra paint. Please?
Try making your secondary color white. That’s what I did with Shinobi.
Just play with color schemes until you get what fits your armor best.

That’s exactly the only reason I’m not wearing helljumper.
It’s covered in moa droppings!
We need at least 1 variant of every armor that has NO white, yellow, cyan markings on it. (Especially campaign variants)

If it makes you feel any better, I absolutely despise asymmetrical paint jobs aswell.
