It’s a Reach baby first of all, such a big powerful gun but then you look at it and there is this 12 inch slightly limp plastic straw for a chamber. I know it’s irrelevant but gosh it bugs the crap out of me and it symbolizes what the DMR is.
We get the battle rifle back, no one seems to favor that weapon like I do I missed it so much! I started off using only Br and was doing fine. As I got more adjusted to the game I started using DMR for those big maps. Of course there mostly big maps so I was using it alot more than the DMR.
I’m not playing how I want to play I understand what people are saying now. Now I use DMR solely I mean there is no point in using the Br if you’re better with a DMR and it does more damage. I’d use Br in swat to get easier headshots but I rediscovered H4 is more like H3 in the fact that I can curve the bullet, just do a sweeping motion across their head and with auto aim you will hit their killbox. (TIP, works with sniper rifles too ;)) So the only thing that makes a Br better than a DMR the fact that it has burst fire allowing for a higher chance of head shot is not even an advantage over the DMR. Plus if I don’t have to carry the DMR as a secondary weapon and use it as my primary I can wield a plasma pistol or boltshot, lets not go there.
The DMR destroys the BR’s niche and I can’t play how I want to because I’m gay and I want to win. These weapons are far to similar especially now that the DMR is long range and small bloom. I hated bloom must’ve stolen 1000 kills from me that I would’ve gotten if I had my Br. This game isn’t big enough for these weapons to compete, one of them has to go and sadly it is the Br that is fated.
PS And for -Yoinks!- sake where is some decent armor. I like Reaches armour better and I hated reaches armour. I have one mixmatch suit that I love but I want options. I dont want to wear smiley clown recon, I dont want to wear narcissistic bear and I dont want to be perverted pigface man. Remember they had that really gay gears of war helmet everyone always wore with the skull carved into it? Even though they had a real skull mask so why even. Now they have an even gayer skull helmet with it painted on there.
