Not cause it makes the game better or more accessible, or that it actually speeds up game play (it’s an illusion, and i am not saying it in the way you’ve seen in “debunked” videos, its an illusion cause it shows an animation that activates your brain so it “feels” faster i guess.
But the sprint argument has yet to change, but if the only reason for sprint/clamber or other bs abilities is cause its “modern” and “every other fps has it why can’t Halo?” That is the exact reason why I do not want it, 343i has made a halo a shell of itself, Infinite is a great example of absolutely ZERO creativity, zero passion, and no soul for this franchise. This is just a soulless $500m and 5 years venture, not made by people that actually want to play the game they make too. Also no, Covid has barely impacted anything with this game, quit using it as an excuse for that absolutely pathetic reveal. I also hate all this radio silence, maybe something tomorrow guess we’ll see. But I doubt 343i will do anything to try to fix this PR nightmare.

Say what you want about sprint, whatever. I don’t care if it’s in the game or not but you have no real ground to say that covid hasn’t affected development. You have no idea who at 343i has had it or known somebody with it. Just because it didn’t affect you doesn’t mean that’s the case for others. Having it can render you unable to work for weeks or months. The emotional toll of losing somebody can affect the work you put forth.

Deflecting and deflecting, Covid has had basically NO effect on a game in development for 5 -Yoinking!- years. Don’t play this -Yoinking!- empty sympathy -Yoink- with it, this games been in development for 4+ years, and releasing in a couple months, there is NO excuse for that reveal.
