How ground pound seems to be a 1 hit kill and How much thruster pack is used.
I think a “gas” system of sorts may need to be implemented so that a person starts with a full tank at the beginning of the round and has a limited supply of use concerning these abilities in the pocket. To ensure that these things aren’t spammed excessively.
But, I’ll have to wait and see till the Beta rolls around to truly figure out how they work in the game.
They’ll probably get tweaked in the beta. Ground and Pound is the only thing I’m semi-worried about; looks like it may be the ability that becomes most used/abused.
I don’t know. They said the ground pound ability needs to be a direct hit to be a kill, so its not some giant smash attack that does damage across a large radius. I think it will take some skill in order to actually get a kill from it. If anything, I question its usefulness besides trying to get a quick kill on someone below you, if you can hit the target.
