lol I looked at the list for the MCC collection achievements and I have to say I was impressed… However I spotted one, “BACK IN THE DAY” play a custom CTF game with 4 people on the same console" At that moment my dreams of 100 percent of this collection was gone, WBU?
I’m with you. Plus having that many controllers would run up a nice receipt.
However, I am curious to see what Tri-Tip means.
You mean you don’t have a combo of either 4 controllers or 3 friends with a controller? I have 3 controllers myself and have at least 5 or 6 friends around me who have controllers, so either way. When I saw that one, I said to myself, that is the easiest one to get. Not sure why some think that is so hard or that they need to buy 4 controllers. Invite friends over.not that hard IMO
I asked about this recently, regarding spit-screen, and this is what I was shown…
Halo: CE Anniversary – 2 players max, split-screen or online
Halo 2: Anniversary – 2 players max, split-screen or online
Halo 3 – 4 players max online, 2 players max split-screen
Halo 4 – 4 players max online, 2 players max split-screen
Kind of confused and concerned. Can we play 4-player on Halo CE multiplayer? I honestly don’t see why we couldn’t. If the Xbone can run Halo 3 4-player with multiplayer why not Halo CE or 2 since they require less power graphically. A bunch of my friends were gonna buy their own controllers to play split-screen on my Xbox and this might ruin that.
Please enlighten me, thanx

That is for Co-op Campaign Sir
I’ve only got 2 controllers

Don’t have any - met them all online
Yeah, that is not a good achievement. Having to buy 3 extra controllers for that is silly. Forza 4 had a stupid achievement as well where you had to have Kinect.

Not everyone has friends with Xboxes.

Ok so what are the spit-screen capabilities for Xbox Live?
I find it hard to believe that you have NO friends that have an xbox. That is kind of how I choose mine lol Come on guys, tighten up. :~)

Well its hard when most of your friends do not even game in general!!! Only 2 of my friends game and they have ps4’s (always like SONY). My other friend who Is planning to buy a xbox one sometime soon is in Shell harbour, Wollongong which is about 8 hours from where I live!!!
Is it cheaper for a bus ticket or more controllers? How much is this achievement really worth? Will you get the other 400 and not this one? These are all must know answers.
I hope that was more of a lament rather than a criticism. Call me callus but it’s sad; not unfair.
I’m in the same boat with you though. I only have one controller and two friends that actually live in my county with Xbox Ones. Kind of sorry considering all the split-screening I used to do in Halo. I have seven Xbox Original controllers and more than I can keep track of for the 360, but have yet to even buy my second for the X1.
… Irony!
What a pointless and unsatisfying achievement.
It’s kind of like one of those achievements that someone thought would be a neat idea, but for a lot of people in certain situations, it just doesn’t work out. There will probably be some kind of work-around, if not a reworking of the achievement itself.

I have no friends near me that play Halo, they are all online. So yeah it is quite hard IMO.
Not sure if you can do this but if you can, buy three used controllers from gamestop, use them for the achievement. Return them after you get achievement.
I don’t have any friends in real life. Didn’t really have a childhood and I moved too much anyways. Twenty three and a bit emotionally crippled so I won’t be getting this one. Doesn’t really bother me though since it’s just one achievement. I can get the rest with people online and I see what they are going for with the “invite your friends over achievement” thing.
I am pretty envious haha…
This is literally the easiest one. I already have 2 controllers, and 3 friends will come over so two of them will bring one each. We were basically already planning to do split screen CTF on Blood Gulch already haha

I have friends with 360s, I do not have friends with an Xbone. Well I have one but I don’t really see him much anymore and he is not exactly an achievement hunter. If I get to the point where I have 3995/4000 for the MCC I might look around for cheap used controllers. That said, I wish it would just be a 4 player custom game and not matter if it’s over XBL.
