I’ve put alot of thought into Halo Reach, why I hate it so much, why I wish it would just die. And above all else there is one thing that literally singlehandedly screws the game out of proportion. One thing that above everything else wrong with Reach, that can cause me to cancel my preorder of Halo 4.
The Jetpack.
Now I’m not saying they need to remove the jetpack entirely, but tweak the living HELL out of it. Preferrably if it’s just a double jump, and it works more like Halo Reach Rangers/Brute Jumpacks, and not Halo 2 Rangers.
You already confirmed no Armour Lock, and I am sure you aren’t gonna remove the Jetpack, but please nerf the hell out of it.

I would also have preferred a jump-pack over a jetpack, but I won’t cancel my pre-order if it stays the same way as it was in Reach. Though I am confident 343i have tweaked it somewhat. With fall-damage gone from halo 4, it would only make sense to change up the jetpack to make it function more like a jump-pack.
Yeah I wouldn’t become too irrational about the Jetpack, to cancel my pre-order on it. It’s a good tool, but people don’t have a strategy to get around it is the thing. Sure it should get nerfed, but I think the only thing right now is the thrust pack, which is badass.

lol so if H4 has Jetpack you’d cancel your pre-order? Omg knee jerk much? I never thought the Jetpack ruined gameplay anything like Invis or AL did, and I rarely used it(or got annoyed by people using it). To each their own I guess.

It was listed as one of the loadout options.
There was custom games footage with it, along with the shotgun.
It was in spartan ops gameplay.

Atleast that would mix up the rage a bit. Saying 343 ripped off BF instead of CoD. (Since BF games focus 99% multiplayer that the other features are either left out completely or mediocre at best)

I would rage quit Halo if they took the campaign out, forge, I don’t care, but Campaign is what makes Halo, Halo in my mind.

I’m a Halo fan, so I probably actually wouldn’t cancel my pre-order if the campaign or forge was taken out, once everything wasn’t wasn’t taken out.

I would just play the Campaign and Spartan Ops at my friends place. And the only playlists without it will probably be Snipers, Swat, MLG, and Classic. Classic and MLG I may play. But if 99% of the game has it, it’s not worth it.
