The One (or so) Things I Do Not Like

The scope on the BR. It’s so ugly. Just keep it classic Halo. Also, keep weapon’s names the same. It’s an energy sword not a prophet’s bane. Take out the thruster pack and climbing, this isn’t Advanced Warfare. Other than that, I seem to be enjoying the beta a little bit. No game 343 will make will compare to my Halo 3 experience but they may come close. What are you opinions on the beta thus far? Not much can be really judged because we can only play small maps and not Big Team Battle, etc.

Nostalgia blinds you. Go play the mcc of you want 2004 concepts. I want halo truly evolved

They are not going to strip mechanics because someone thinks they vaguely resemble something from another game.

Energy Swords are in the game, the Prophet’s Bane is a special weapon only on Truth.

My opinion is that all the Spartan abilities and mechanics blend together beautifully well and the game looks fantastic. I’m not inclined to hate on a mechanic just because it’s not “classic” or that another FPS game has something vaguely similar to it.

Obviously they wont remove features, its just my opinion. It is a good concept in COD but I don’t like it in Halo. And I guess I should have played more then. I only played on three maps but 90% of the time it was Truth so I thought the Energy Sword got replaced.

I hope they bring back the sight that Halo 4’s BR had. Not only does it suit the returning design of the BR, but it doesn’t stand out like this current one does. The curves and the gap at the top make the sight look more like something a Covenant weapon would have, and contrast with the boxy design of the weapon.
