Hey hope everyone is doing well!
After completing the campaign and the multiplayer battle pass to level 100 like many I put down infinite for awhile waiting for new content. I started to really miss the game. I’ve been playing halo since halo 2 during the OG Xbox Live days and this is one of my favorites gameplay wise.
I realized the ONE thing I want more than new maps, modes, etc. is a Spartan progression system separate from the battle pass profession. Just a simple emblem rank like in MCC, or the numbered spartan XP ranks from Halo 5 or both even! This would make me feel the sense of progressing even when waiting for a new battle pass. I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts!
Thanks and take care!

Yea, I have absolutely no flipping idea why they didn’t just lift MCC’s progression in its entirety over to Infinite, or at the very least Halo 5’s.
- It’s been tested by thousands of players which LOVE IT
- It has a proper infrastructure and progression which can be modified for Infinite with literally no issues
- DURRRRRRRRRRR WE MAEK NEW SYSTEM DURRRRRRRRRRR
At this point, it’s really hard not to believe that Infinite is somehow undergoing industrial espionage with how many bad decisions and implementations plague the very core of the user experience.

I play this game a lot. A progression system would definitely make me play it even more.
My only thing is that I don’t want to have played 1000+ games and then start at the same level as someone playing their first. I would hope they’re keeping track of the total XP you’ve earned.

A 3rd-party website has done it, I imagine it will be quite easy for them to add
A progression system would be great imo.
I don’t think they exactly need to give out rewards per level, but if they do, that would be great
I’m insanely curious as to why this system wasn’t simply copied over.

The obvious answer would be MONEY but it doesn’t make sense to not copy something that works then modify it to earn money rather than overhaul it and make something… which doesn’t work.
