So apparently 343i won’t be making story DLC. As a long time Halo fan I believe Halo should not have story DLC because it strays from the “Halo Formula” (leers at Halo 5’s movement mechanics)
Anyways, is anyone else disappointed that we will not be getting an amendment to the “story” we were presented with or even a small side story DLC that depicts the FSKING COVENANT/ARBITER CIVIL WAR?!?!?!?!?!!!?!?!?!?!?!11!?!?!1
I mean, they made it seem soooooo important to mention “top brass doesnt want to get involved with the Arbiter’s civil war” yet the only bits we see are the arbiter going ham on some covies at the end of the level 2 missions from the end of the game…
$60 AAA games should not have their focus on esports and MLG 420 noscopes doritos, make you REAL fan base happy THEN expand on the sweatier community.

No one is gonna take you serious when you go after a part of the community. There’s never been a Halo story DLC. And I’m assuming the fact that we didn’t see the whole fight between SoS and the covenant is because we’ll see it in the next game. The end credits did end with “we’ll see you on Sanghelios.”
Halo 5’s campaign is a very contained story centred around the Chief and Locke. If you really want to know more about the civil war on Sanghelios, read Glasslands by Karen Traviss.

-
before sweaty tryhards ruined halo we had fun
-
EU is acceptable support content to the video games (which make up the focal points of the lore) not the other way around
-
after the credits (legendary)
we see installation 3 activating with cortana humming in the background
