When I was reading a forum topic a while back about Season Two of spartan Ops, I noticed that there were a lot of complaints about the unavailability of offline missions. While I know that the online prospect is to boost Gold Membership sales, I felt that there had to be a way to compromise. This is what I came up with:
How about after a season is fully complete, we start the offline season, which is are the same episodes and missions of Season One, only they would be offline-playable missions, in the downtime between seasons. Not only would this solve the problem for people who complain about the online exclusive missions, but it could promote Gold purchases by encouraging people to get the missions as the come out, and not having to wait 10+ weeks to play. Because, and I hope this is a true statement, the missions and maps are already complete, it would not be a very time-consuming task to make them available offline, and would not take time from developing other aspects of Halo 4.
I really do want to hear your thoughts and ideas on this idea, and your opinions on if this would be a viable option or not.
Sincerely,
