Since the US is a democracy, the gov’t (and their dollars) have nothing to do with this. The private sector can spend their money as they wish.

I’m talking about starving Africans and our ailing environment. Nothing political, religious, or forbidden about that. Sports are a waste of time when your attention could be spent on trying to help the world instead of sitting idly by and cheering on an overpaid buffoon to do something with absolutely no purpose.
I’m still not going to tell anyone how to spend their money. People will always be starving somewhere. The environment will be fine…it’s just closing in on a way to rid the planet of humans.
I don’t think its right that one guy gets paid millions of dollars because he can throw a ball further than someone else.
