That’s not Splitscreen, its just online coop. Everyone has their own screen. Splitscreen quite literally means sharing or splitting the same screen. What is so hard to understand about this? The only Splitscreen option where you will actually be able to share a screen with someone (couch Co-op) will be 2 player split screen in online multiplayer only.

Was there splitscreen of any kind during the BETA?
I only owned 1 controller at the time so I couldn’t test it out.

That’s quite the emotional response.
Removing 4 player splitscreen is not a decision they made lightly. It had to be a tough choice for them, but a necessary one.

Frankie excuses are a joke.
Halo fans didn’t ask for all the stuff they are putting in the game.
Halo evolved till Halo 3. Minor changes always for the better.
Halo Reach added the not needed Abilities and then began the decline of Halo.
With Halo 4 343 took the game and broke it even more, their attempt to transform Halo in COD made a lot of the fanbase “forget” about Halo.
They didn’t learn from the mistakes and changed Halo even more with Halo 5.
Now they are taking out split-screen, this needs to stop.

the pro gramers don’t make the game generate revenue. The quality and the way the game is liked by the consumers is what generates the revenu.

I hope you know that the game not having split screen local co-op will not affect profits in a major way. We live in a way different world than we did back in H1/H2 times
EDIT: And it was not a business decision. It was a gameplay quality decision
