Wouldn’t a job of pretty much anything game team related at 343 get you the administration rank or is it exclusive to certain systems team members?

I’d like to see more Locus avatars. There are currently ZERO Locus avatars on the site.

I thought it could be cool, but I have no skills for the gaming industry whatsoever. Guess I’ll have to stick with what I’ve been going to school with for the past 5 years

I wouldn’t mind writing books for them. (Even though it’s a one in a million chance.) My fanfiction has been going strong for awhile now. In the beginning you can see how premature my writing is but after a few chapters you will start to really notice my growth as a writer.
It would also be cool to get my story made into a cartoon Halo: Legends style. But thats just unrealistic dreaming… lol

It’s my dream and something I am currently working towards. I intend to use my GI Bill, as well as my tuition assistance, that the Army gives me to attend college as soon as I get back from this deployment. I have enough contacts with good standing within my current job field (UAVs) to safely secure a job there once my contract ends and make six figures a year, but I would rather land a job doing something I am truly passionate about.
Right now I’m in contact with Full Sail University and talking to them about their Bachelor’s Degree in Game Art program. Full Sail is one of the top five arts and media colleges in the states and I hope that a degree from there would be enough to land me a job at 343I.
Unfortunately, I don’t really see the exact fields I really want on that list. I would really like to have a job within the story department working on either plots or character creation and development. One of the other fields I would love to work in is animation. After seeing motion capture in action in the behind the scenes for both Halo 4 and the Tomb Raider reboot, that is something I would absolutely love to get into. Getting all the movements just right would be an amazing way to enhance the immersion for players anywhere.
I also want to take some of the creative writing classes that they offer to improve my skills with the written word. I have years of creative writing experience, but I feel like I lack the ability to truly flesh out what I mean to say in the most clear way possible. I also want to rekindle my love for music and the theory behind it and possibly take some of the classes from their Musical Engineering degree path. That was, after all, the degree I wanted prior to my enlistment.
TL;DR: Yes, I’ve thought about it.

It got a lot of hate for some reason but it was fun to hunt down the skulls to wear it. It felt rewarding when you actually got it.

That is not unrealistic. You can always learn to do animations and then go out and find some voice actors, music producers, etc. Make a team and do it yourself. It’s just a matter of motivation. Think about it.

Wow, you have a lot of ideas and plans. Good stuff. I am a pretty good artist myself, but I am still getting the hang of things on a computer. I have a drawing pad, but it is poo. I wanted one with a screen, be way better. So, I think after some time of getting the hang of this drawing stuff on the computer, I will be able to show my art! Sorry. lol.
