Not going to lie, I’ve seen players use armor abilities in very creative ways that gave them the little upper hand they needed to win in combat. I like armor abilities, but unless the community can use them more efficiently which is unlikely, I’d like to see them only in customs, campaign, Firefight and Spartan Ops modes.
Prefer a more “arena” multiplayer. Other modes can be plain casual fun, story driven, objective or immersive role play based.

There’s no doubt people used them tactically I mean, even just sending out a hologram so a sniper wastes 1 bullet on ot can be considered tactical. I just disliked them because everyone was no longer equal. Having camo, regeneration shield etc in the form of equipment like in Halo 3 works better in my opinion.
Adds an extra element of things to control like power weapons and has a respawn timer where only 1 person could pick it up. Instead of everyone on a team being able to use it at the same time

Indeed, they were trading a beloved, competitive, and classic equal starts layout for something more class-based, which could potentially allow room for new strategy and team role-playing, but I feel that players weren’t interested in that and did not play that way.
Personally, I am not a competitive player but would like the main playlists to be competitive and balanced where everyone had equal footing.
Multiplayer arena-styled, balanced and competitive, so you can enjoy even with randoms. Spartan Ops/Firefight more class and team-based, more enjoyable with friends, armor abilities work well for these modes.

I have no idea. I don’t remember seeing a video with them think they may just be pics
Maybe with Halo 5 I think they will try to find a balance with people liking and disliking armor abilities. As everyone previously stated there will be fans (Like Myself) who will be sad about all of this. I think they just want to please everyone now and not upset everyone.

My main thing for multiplayer is everyone being equal, the reason I fell in love with Halo 3 multiplayer. But yes, campaign mode and all co-operative modes, classes would work well and I feel people would be mor inclined to play certain roles

On-Topic on the Off-Topic. Yup. But, like Austin said, it’s nice to have a little discussion here, there’s nothing wrong with it, and I think we all know that 95% of the replies on those other threads are anti-AA. Just a little group of peeps here to have a little chat with. The usual suspects.
But anyway… Waypoint just achieved a whole new level of creepiness. Now there’s a whole thread dedicated to seeing a naked Arbiter in remastered HD.
