The Official Off-topic Thread 7

Look at the black dot in the center of this picture. Something really weird is about to happen.

You are just seeing things…

Has anyone else noticed their Gamer Pic randomly changing on xbox.com? I’m afraid I’ve been hacked. :frowning:

Don’t know why, but I have a strong urge to punch the Wendy’s girl…

Mine changed too. Also, I was unable to log in a few hours ago on xbox.com

There’s a Service thing going wrong having to do with redeeming codes on xbox.com. Maybe that has to do with it.

Same here. Signed into xbox.com to check, and it worked fine, except for a random (and rather creepy looking) gamerpic where my normal, lovable avatar shot was supposed to be.

Signed into my Xbox 360, and everything was normal there. No notification that I’d been signed into a different console before, and my gamerpics there were normal.
Strange.

EDIT: AHHHH IT CHANGED AGAIN! This time to a avatar in a Mark V 117 looking down at the ground! This is actually pretty freaky.
EDIT 2: Aaaaaand now it’s hedgehog. My god, what the heck is going on?
EDIT 3: Every time I click on a new page in xbox.com, it’ll change. It has changed several different times now, every time a I navigate. Now it’s some creepy avatar who looks like he’s from the 80’s with green hair.

So, Comic, did you try the last game I posted? The one with the Halo 4 pic?

> -snip-

Same here. First it was a robot with antennas on either side of its head. Now its an echidna.

Oh, yeah I did. I’m staring at this thing so hard, trying to find some sort of hidden image, then BOOM! FX warp!

I’m fairly certain that one’s rigged.

I’ve gotten both of those. O.o

I’m getting this… Whatever that is…

LMAO, there’s no rig :stuck_out_tongue:
When the strange colored picture leaves all you really see is a black and white image. But your eyes will see the correct colors the image would normally have.

Signing into xbox.com gives me a Connection Untrusted message on Firefox, I will try on Chrome next.
Edit: My profile shows a little red robot icon rather than my Halo 4 Richochet icon.

If it works for anyone. There is a list of all the places you have connected from somewhere in your live account.

EDIT: WUT.

I randomly have 2 extra bucks on my account now…

EDIT 2: I just checked my account sign-in list. Somebody has been going trough a lot of security verifications when I’m not on. Weird. Anyone else see this on their account?

Darn. No free money for me.

How do we check our security verifications…?

Go to account.live.com and search for Recent Activity.

Nothing of late for me, but I did come across someone in Seattle trying to log in to my account on the 4th…

Scratch that. This Seattle bozzo has been leaving ‘security challenges’ everyday, for a while now. As recent as… 20 minutes ago.

Wat.

Hopefully tonights bulletin gives us a preview of the new update. Beyond excited for it.

I’ve had the same security challenges from the seattle area as well for awhile now. Though the site does say “Note that some internet providers might rought your activity to through a different location.” Any chance you have comcast for internet Comic?

Maybe its just Waypoint, because I live outside the US and no way we could have the same provider. My security checcks are from Seattle too.

Checking my account now.

Avatar picture has changed. Curious.

Yeah, someone’s been attempting to log into my account from Seattle. For four days now. With an unknown browser. Changing my password now.

EDIT: Entered the IP address into my address bar. Took me to Waypoint, using both Safari and Chrome.
