One of the most dumbest messages I’ve ever gotten through Xbox live was a text saying “Then don’t play online multiplayer games if you’re not gonna take them seriously! What’s the point?!”. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. The guy wasn’t trolling either, he was actually angry.

That is dumb. You don’t have to take the game seriously, you just have to have fun. Damn.

And that’s exactly what I was doing.

I remember the old times where gaming was meant to pass the time and have fun…
Now people treat it like sports and act with bad sportsmanship.
I always send out a gg in halo wars to the good sportsmanship plays, I just wish that others did the same instead of those “You suck” messages.
Saying that games aren’t meant to be fun is like saying pizza isn’t supposed to have anything on it, just plain dough!

I usually change my avatar once a year. This is my 2014 avatar. Last years avatar was the spartan with the red flag.
I remember the first avatar I used was the teddy bear from Homecoming, the second was Dutch from The Babysitter, then I used my Halo 4 snake emblem and now I’ve got Halsey. I think I had Dutch for the longest and the transitions to the snake confused some people.
My avatar is the best one ever. I changed to something else, then missed it so much I had to dig through thousands of emails to find the image. Worth it.
Oooooh, are we talking about avatars? I don’t remember my first avatar (I think it was the orange Halo 2 avatar), my second (I think) avatar was an enhanced version of the orange Halo 2 avatar courtesy of bs angel, I don’t remember my third avatar (or if I even had one, I do know that the drastic changes to the forums wiped out my Halo 2 avatar), my fourth was Palmer (I don’t know why, I really don’t), and my fifth is this beautiful creature (soon to be vindicated after all these years?).
The avatar I’m using suits me well, it feels off if I were to change it, but I would love it if there was a picture of the Ur-Didact then that one would be mine.
Still want to know how that one person got the the Halsey avatar.
I asked bs angel if she or whoever was involved in avatar creation to make a Halsey one based on a sample I sent her. Next thing I knew, there it was. Fairly sure I said “I think I love you…forever” after that, then she wanted that on paper and in writing…so needless to say I ended up mailing a printout of that message and she hung it on her wall.

Avatars…hmmmmmm I guess I use the H4 emblem because…I uhhhhh…Waypoint just does not have images I enjoy more then my current one. (Now if we could get a unicorn that I can change the color of the mane…that would be awesome.)
