Europe doesn’t have any teal elephants…?
(Well, I just realized that Europe is a continent. Screw it, the above is the first think I came up with.)
And, unless I’m as bad at math as I am at picking out countries, wouldn’t you always get ‘5=E’? If I interpreted it correctly… any number between 1 and 10 multiplied by 9, then their digits added together equals 9.
1x9=9 [0+9=9]
2x9=18 [1+8=9]
3x9=27 [2+7=9]
4x9=36 [3+6=9]
5x9=45 [4+5=9]
and so on, up until
10x9=90 [9+0=9]
9-4=5
and on the chart, 5=E.

Is it just me, or does when you say, “I went to the gym”, some people get butthurt and resort to name-calling and just immature childish behaviour? Some people are really cool about it, like, “Yo, we should go together sometime!” but others can act “You think you’re so tough and strong!” It’s like, I never said that and I just went for a run. What’s your problem, dude? Today a guy with a longboard thought I was one upping him when I brought a board of my own. It seems that people feel insecure and sometimes jealous, looking at someone else as competition when they are interested in the same things as them. But simply put I brought my board because I like riding it and it helps me get home or to the bus stop faster.
Really, I think that you have to ignore those people who try to judge you. Never mind the scrutiny. They want you to live life a certain way when they’re uncertain about theirs. Just wanted to get that off my chest.
Arcade Fire is a Canadian band? Never knew that.

Some pianist back when I was at highschool (which we happened to call Goku Sparrow) mocked me when I started playing. As well as a friend of him who was actually pretty good at playing many instruments. He happened to call me… Lets say “noob” once and I played ODST’s theme on his face.
Mouth. Shut.
Just don’t pay attention to those people.
Just got done with my mid-term in the History of Christianity with subject matter ranging from the 1st century AD to the 6th century AD. Felt it was pretty easy in both the multiple choice and essay portion. Had to argue which event was the most important in church history, so I went with the ascension of Constantine to the imperial throne.

Woo, bravo! I try not to pay attention to those people but honestly, there is that human urge to prove them wrong and be better than them at something when they keep shoving in your face that they think they are better than you at it. It can be contagious, never-ending behaviour, but if I adopt that, unfortunately I’m most likely not going to be a good person either and act the same way to others as they have treated me.
I’ve been in the same situation, playing piano. I wrote a little portion of an original piece and played it for some friends and they liked it but this other girl got really, really mad about it. “I’m so much better” is almost an exact quote from her.
ODST music is so, so, good. People love to hear the themes. I’d love to hear recordings of you and HCandy’s playing, if you’re up for that.

I just took the easiest English exam in the history of mankind. The professor thinks I may be too smart for her class.

Sounds like me during Freshmen year in High School.

I were good in me English class as well too.
Nah, seriously, good job. (You too, Cobra!) Grades will get you far in life.

I plan on making vids when I get a decent piano. I think keyboards are not very professional.

If only math came as easy to me…

“Were it so easy…”
Somebody had to do that.
@Siul and Ooompa:
I reeeeally want to learn that ODST theme on the piano. I take piano and everything, but I’m a slow learner. Also, I have ‘The Ear’, meaning if I try and play and song that I’ve heard, I’ll try and play exactly how I’ve heard it, meaning I’ll change sharps, flats, and fingering around.
Like Siul said Oompa, you can’t those people seriously. Everyone is so highstrung in competition anymore. I used to think I could umpire at some little league games for some money, but I’d rather not be eaten alive by the try-hard parents who will insist on what they saw (from the bleachers past third base).
> I reeeeally want to learn that ODST theme on the piano. I take piano and everything, but I’m a slow learner.
I took the Rampancy arrangement and rewrote it to make it easier. I can send you the sheet music or MIDI if you want (altough its missing some notes at the beggining, I don’t remember why I neglected those).
By “easy” I mean the left hand is easier to play. Its a good way to start learning it.

You try and play the piece exactly as you hear it, but you change sharps, flats, and fingering?
It’s human nature, not something you can fight but something you can control the effect on you and your own life.

I’ve been looking into a tree planting summer job. The two biggest obstacles in my way so far are purchasing $500 of equipment and paying to live in a remote town near the work site. It’s a good way to make money but relocating 200 kilometers isn’t practical.

Kind of a far distance to relocate. Ultimately it’s your choice, hope all works out well for you man
Why did it take me so long to realize Éomer (LotR) is played by the same dude as Riddick’s Vako?
No RvB to look forward to tonight. What am I to do?
Also, I just had a dream that I was detained in some jail cell and this shadowy demon figure was torturing me. And every time I managed to escape and exit through the door, I would just end up back in the cell being tortured again.
