No offence but then I think you are doing it wrong…
I personally think that the game industries is moving forward by leaps and bounds.
Xbox and Sony both have good AAA titles rolling and there are a lot of new good indie developers busy at the moment.
Now if they would announce Portal 3 along what we already have waiting I’d go insane!

Titanfall…lackluster, Destiny…lackluster…both had extream potential. Halo is the only huge title outside the 2015 line up I got.

My god the Hobgoblins are atrocious on the Queen’s Wrath missions. There was much cursing on the Gate Lord mission.

On the subject of lackluster games there are plenty of good games out there, it just largely depends on what sort of games you enjoy, for example despite the criticism Destiny is getting I know I’m going to get it eventually after a price drop.

I’m doing that right now. Well, at least with the main games. I promised a friend that we’d play Halo Wars on Legendary together, so I’ll probably skip that.
But instead of playing Reach first, I thought I’d play this mod for Halo PC, called Project Lumoria. Probably the best fan-made campaign around, with a story that is pretty typical for Halo. Basically, Covenant find some Forerunner artifact that could potentially lead them to find Earth’s location, so you as some Spartan-II has to go stop them. Nothing noteworthy, but also nothing that’s going to bother a lorenut. It’s set in 2552, but I think the in-game text says 2531. Either way, it’s probably before the Battle of Reach, and it’s a pretty good mod for any person who’s looking to have some more of CE’s great gameplay.
