1 year ago. I saved my father once, and my mother twice in the same day. I wasn’t expecting life to throw such a challenge the same day I got my age majority… And I can’t describe how much a sutuation like that changed me.

As I’ve said before many times, you have to see both the good and bad in the world to have a realistic view. Maybe one overlies the other, but that’s not something we can directly know. I was just thinking about this the other day, and yes it may be very personal but I’m not going to overshare, I was asking myself, “Are the people around me, are my friends reliable? Do I have to look over my shoulders all the time?” But there’s no one answer, just because one person stabs me in the back doesn’t mean another friend will. And just because another friend is good to me doesn’t mean someone else won’t.
We’re living in very peaceful times right now compared to the eras before, but I don’t think war will go away that easily. As humans, we are not perfect people. I think war is very human.
But of course, I wish for peace and unity where there can be.

I seem to take a survivalist view then. I find that when I trust someone to do something, I end up getting knocked for it. The only works I can trust are those of my own hands. It’s a very lonely lifestyle, with few real friends. People mistake an aura of solitude for one of superiority, and it has caused much conflict. The friends I do count have never failed to help me. It’s just important to realize when something is too big for any one person.
Such a true quote. I can’t resolve a conflict right off, so it takes me over, trying to find a way to end it.
