Actually, no, I havenāt tried cupcakes.
And Iām totally not a sociopath. I have lots of friends. Granted, theyāre all infected and controlled by the Gravemind, but thatās a minor nuance, IMO.

People say we live in dark times, that things are the worst they have ever beenā¦I disagree. Things are all around better it is just now-a-days all the bad is easier to see with the social media.
That is fineā¦but too many people let it get to them and they think the entire world sucks. When I see people like that I wish I could show them how wrong they are. People change, sometimes for the good sometimes for the bad and thats fineā¦butā¦our job as Guardians is to show them that loving the world is a an option.

We just live in a society that cheats on each other all the time. Divorce is crazy high. I blame the ease it is of being able to communicate with other people daily.

People are not pure of heart, all the corruption is in everyoneā¦but it is if you choose to let the corruption make choices for you that makes people who they are.

But yes, itās very important to see the good in people and the world.

Or is it?
Yes, social media is quite the double-edged sword. People can hide behind names that mean nothing, hate on each other, spew their negativity, worry, and dislike at everyone. Because it has no consequence. Because it doesnāt directly effect their life.
People can hide behind their computer screens. And they can be [naughty, naughty word here]s when they do so.
But Iām on the other side of the world from people like Avak, Spearhead, Candy, and such. Way up north from people like Siul. We, here on Waypoint, are different in every way.
Culture.
Location.
Religion.
Personal views.
You name it.
Our leaders could be at each othersā throats. We could be teetering on the edge of war.
Yet, instead of pulling us apart, a different war brings us together.
One set five centuries in the future.
In the end, through social media, it brings people from all across the world together in mere milliseconds. You can always have the occasional moron. But interacting and communicating with people on the opposite end of the Earthā¦ and our generation, most of us have our lives ahead of usā¦ it can be an asset to peace.

Like I said, generations revolve.
I know politics is an off-limit subject, but I donāt think this passes the boundaryā¦

Weāre the ones to determine the future. Most of us here havenāt passed the ripe old age of 25. We can all be something great.
The world runs on leadership. Leaders are the ones who determine everything. And we can all be something great. Maybe leaders ourselves.
And all war doesā¦ it doesnāt solve anything. It creates more issues. Terrorism, corruption, greed, all things that pull this world down into the depths of war. And the people that understand this, the more young people, the ones who will one day possibly be the president, prime minister, the leaderā¦ the better.
Itās sad that we can even imagine and dream up worlds and universes such as Halo, in which numerous alien species and planets fight each other, when we canāt even get along on this one planet. Weād like to think that this can all eventually end. But all it takes is one personās views to turn this world upside down.
And vice versa. We can all be something great. World leader or the boss of a few employees. Itās up to us to make that decision. To change the world. Because we all have that ability within us.
Itās how we use it is what matters.
