The Official Off-topic Thread 7

So I go to get Unreal Development kit today, because Source Development kit for Counter Strike isn’t mac available (I just really want to make maps and gain some experience.)

Low and behold, UDK isn’t available for Mac.

Just my luck.

… Hey universe, can you stop shooting me in the foot whenever I try to do something productive? It’s getting on my nerves.

Houston is so conjested, and ghetto.

Glad I live in the suburbs.

One of my relatives lives in an Austin suburb by two roads promptly named ‘Slaughter Lane’ and ‘Convict Hill’.
Sounds cozy.

But it’s a surprisingly nice neighborhood. Well, from what she’s said and when I’ve been there. Only have those guys out on the side of the road with signs asking for money for sad causes, and makes me feel sad since you can’t tell if they are telling the truth or that they’re one of the many who just con you out of your cash. :frowning:

EDIT: Just stumbled across why it’s ‘343’ Guilty Spark.
7 to the third power (cubed) is 343. 7 is Bungie’s fav number. I should’ve caught on sooner…

Thanks. I’ve been practicing my lines.

“hello, welcome to McDonalds. How may I help you”

“would you like fries with that”

“would you like to super size that for ¢88”

And now, Bioware tries to look better by bringing Revan backAgain…

Don’t forget

“McDonalds is not responsible for any internal bleeding, excessive vomiting, or explosive diarrhea resulting from the consumption of our ‘food’.”

I wasnt too much of a fan of George and not to mention, if i remember correctly Sean Connery was supposed to be in HMSS, however he suffered a broken leg or something like that so needed a quick replacement. Thats what i heard, but not 100% sure.

Later, with Spiderman unable to stop Carnage, he teams up with Venom (this is the beginning of Anti-hero Venom) to defeat Carnage. Tbh, that is by far my favorite part of Spiderman’s comics. Venom being the good guy was just mind blowing.

Yeah. The Venom Symbiote actually has 4 main ones (Venom, Carnage, Toxin, and Anti-Venom); and there are 12 minor ones (Dreadface, Screamer, Lasher, Phage, Agony, Riot, Hybrid, Korbaa, Payback, ZZZXX, Scorn, and Mania). Out of all of them, Venom is my true favorite,

BTW, @Cobra, love both Make a Man out of You and Friends on the other side. Let It Go, on the other hand…covers face and turns thou shall not sing that song, lol

From what i remember, didnt Revan disappear a few years after killing Malek, by leaving into dark space, to search for the “great evil”, which was obviously the Sith Empire.

Yeah, then

He got captured and put into stasis for hundreds of years, just to be revived.

Shortly after, one of the most powerful Jedi to have ever existed is defeated by a group of sith thugs and mercs, and the fans believed him dead for years (a pretty lame death at the moment).

I’m not really happy with this, just because they left him dead for years. Having him just disappear is not an excuse, because many other Jedi in the SW universe disappeared as they died.
