> As for the price, it’s $250-275. The final price hasn’t been 100% confirmed, but, given the TRU exclusive aspect of the set, it’ll probably be closer to $275. Still, given the piece count of 3340 pcs and a general premise of 10 cents per piece, it’s retail price could’ve acceptably been $334ish, so $334 - $275 = $59. So you can look at it as being on sale for $59 off already.

In the $200’s? Damn…thats heavy. As for xbl, ill be online around 8 tonight.

hey guys! i was at this party today and the funniest thing happend, a girl broke her teeth because she fell… hahah you should have seen her!!!

TBH, considering how many pieces there are, I wouldn’t be surprised if you could make one from it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe you could even make it fire super dense lazar beams like the real thing, assuming you knew quantum physics and how to fit a supercomputer X 5,000,000 into the weapon.

It is pretty heavy. I probably won’t be able to afford it, but it’s still something that you just have to have, know what I mean? Anyway, I’ll be on at 7 PM EST, so I’ll see you come online.

That Scarab looks amazing! Pretty big too.

> That Scarab looks amazing! Pretty big too.

It’s 15 in. (38.1 cm) tall and 19 in. (48.26 cm) wide.

And of course it looks amazing! I haven’t seen a set from Mega in recent times that HASN’T looked amazing. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, I should try collecting things like this in the future.

Hmm, they should make a real sized Mantle’s Approach replica.

Well, that will only take a promethean army to build.

A real sized Mantle’s Approach? Well, sure, I’m all for it. May cost a few quintillion dollars and every scrap of plastic on earth, as well as the science needed to generate enough momentum to keep it in orbit around Earth, but, yeah, that would be awesome.

Of course, if the next signature series set were to be the Mantle’s Approach, and it were less than $300, I might get that, too. I mean, it would be a little more affordable…

Sony has just released a trailer for the new Godzilla Blu-rays.

I’m still happy I bought these over Destiny. Especially after reading the how badly uninteresting and bland the story was. Kinda help why I still think Joe Staten isn’t that good of a writer outside maybe lore building. That and GMK is a vastly superior product when you get into general entertainment even with Toho during production focused Shusuke Kaneko to change Varan and Anguirus to Mothra and King Ghidorah. It’s still better than the most of crap that came out in last 10 years. Hell, not even G2014 can match up to it in compression and this is coming from guy who likes and respects 2014.
It has very original story that ties in with Japan’s mythology with the Guardian monsters and Godzilla being the embodiment of unrest souls who want revenge for forgetting their past sins in World War II, charterers go thought an arch that you also care about, and amazing music score by Kow Otani, who also did music for the Heisei Gamera trilogy and Shadow of the Colossus, that’s up there with some of the best that Akira Ifukube has done. And this all came out the same year as Halo 1, so yeah kinda of speaks for itself.

I loved GMK as a kid. It was so epic and Godzilla was such a badass. I’d definitely rank it just below 2014 though. Like I said, Japanese storytelling ain’t really my thing. I also want to give a special mention to Final Wars. Had my favorite Godzilla incarnation.

Final Wars was fun. Even when it first came out back when I was in grade school, I thought it had the best Godzilla design and was the best ever. Though my thoughts have change over the years. I still enjoy it from time to time as fan service than as a movie, Destroy All Monsters does have a leg up on that. That and I understand why a lot of G fans hate it, yeah there’s a huge group of people that really hate it just like Godzilla’s Revenge, due to the fact that it’s the most expensive Godzilla movie ever made. But they mostly reuse parts of past suits for the kaiju (Destoryah’s tall for Anguirus or Ghidorah’s legs for Rodan), the GCI not looking as good as the past films, and not having that much Godzilla in it nor being in the central plot. That and Ryuhei Kitamura’s style of genre blending doesn’t mesh well with Godzilla unless you seen one of his past films like Versus unlike Shusuke Kaneko’s when he did GMK. It’s ok, not the best way to end Godzilla that still goes to Godzilla vs Destroyah nor would I put it in my top ten, but I still enjoy over something like 98.

> Is anyone here planning on working for 343 in the future?

Nah. I want to get a job in toxicology, get married.

Ive been watching bungie’s “in the making of” halo documentaries. Hard to believe they almost cut multiplayer.

Is anyone in the northern hemisphere trying to see the Aurora Borealis tonight?

Playing a game has recently made me remember

Good times.

Gamespot gives Destiny a 6/10.

Is it a bad time to say that I’m glad that I cancelled my preorder for it last month?

Think the hype has been too high worldwide for what it is.

I just wanna be a Spartan. sigh

Suspected as much after the beta. But man, I was rooting for Destiny.

I’m still gonna have fun with it, if postal can get faster.
