Hey, at least the noisy XB1s aren’t as bad as the RROD 360s.
And that’s interesting that Mojang is about to be bought by Microsoft. Minecraft will be a Microsoft Studios game, now?

Well, that’s nice of them.
Not sure how they expect to gain members with stuff like that, guess they’re big enough not to care unfortunately.

I was wondering what GamerGate was. Every time I looked it up I’d only find articles about Zoe Quinn and misogyny in gaming. I’ll leave my opinion on said articles out of this.
That’s a really sad thing for the owner of the site to do though. Can’t see why they’d just randomly boot members.

There is no way I can see anything good coming out of that deal.

What will happen is in a few months, Microsoft will proudly announce that future updates of Minecraft will require Windows to run and therefore leaving Linux users like myself in the dirt.
If that happens, Microsoft will face the brutally vocal Linux community - and Mac users - more than ever before. In fact, they should prepare themselves for protests outside of their doors, constant bombardment from petitions, and some especially zealous individuals will probably do all that they can to hack them.

Exactly. Or they’ll turn it into a subscription based service in order to get more money out of it and “fund the continuos updates”. They could charge for updates, possibly add micro-transactions and make you pay to change your skin or your name…
Heck, they could even drop resource pack support and make you pay for “official” resource packs.
I mean, maybe they’ll be smart and leave it alone, but I can only imagine how badly they could maim the game and its wonderful community.

Lol…as an heavy MS user, I have to agree. They’ve been so sneaky since the 80’s.
BTW, is anyone having a problem with the pre-order content on Destiny. Apparently, I was expecting mine to appear in the inventory, but didn’t show. Just want to check, before i go off and post a report on Bungie’s/Destiny forum.

So people will protest if Microsoft decides to have their studio make exclusive content?

Which preorder content?

Wow. That is perhaps the most pathetic message I have ever seen. And I agree with Avak…that’s a poor way to gain members, thus it would be a very “cruel” response.
Technically, a response like that, I wouldn’t tolerate, b/c from my perspective, thats an automatic 1 month probation. (Demotion from staff for 1 month, plus a 2 week ban). Unacceptable, is all i can say about that and you should stay away from that site. If they respond like that, then you should not bother walking in.

Sparrow, COD:AW special content, vanguard, and emblems and skin (for Ghost). Do we unlock them automatically, no matter the level or by progression.

Ha. You’ve apparently forgotten one important detail: Microsoft doesn’t realize PC gaming exists.
No, you should look to see Minecraft become an Xbox One exclusive. Microsoft is all about pushing sales of a console it’s been losing money on and forcing users to buy it to get anything at all.
What’ll happen is Microsoft will kill support for all current versions of Minecraft, then announce “Minecraft: The Mine Collection” at E3 2015. “A massive amount of Minecraft… Enhanced with the power of the Xbox One. Get yer Minecraft for only $399!”

Did you check with the postmaster and the other person in the same pavilion? They have some of it but the CoD content is only after lvl 20 and the Vanguard armory is over by the shipmaster - I think the lowest lvl gear there is lvl 5.

Oh…lol. I actually did not, I thought it would just appear, in the same fashion as Halo pre-order content. Yet, I’ll check that out. As for the CoD…that’s a shame, tbh, but then again, its a lvl 20 so I can understand that. Thanks for the info.
> Lol I’d rather get a newer car than this.
Agreed…with 13,700, I can pay off my Jeep once the lease is up. No need for me to spend it on a gold-plated console.
I am pissed at Nintendo this holiday season!
They announce the N3DS and then try to sell limited editions of a system that will have to be replaced by next year. Not greedy at all. Damn shame because I really wanted that Persona 3DSXL.

Is this for real? Haha that’s horrible. I don’t know GAF very well so I’m not going to talk about it very much but that is one of the most ridiculous bans I’ve ever seen. As Riot said, I’d stay away from the site.
